We had an okay stay at Semeli Hotel. The workers were friendly and helpful. The wifi was very interrupted and the location was a bit average. But overall good value because the price was cheap so no complaints 🙏

First when we make 2 rooms reservation we choose executive rooms. They gave us the worst rooms. One of the room the bathroom door wasn’t working, and the other one was smelling bad. After complaining about the status of the rooms they gave us another ones, but in bad conditions. Every rooms had rugs in very bad conditions. After few days we asked for undust the room because at the wall the prior client wrote a message and at the front desk’s answer was that we were winning too much. We were paying for a service. Wasn’t for free.

Reading the reviews I felt comfortable booking for two nights, but we were very disappointed. 1. Room: musty, mattress spotty, saw some bugs (not bed bugs luckily), stains on the ceiling, cigarette burn spots in the carpet 2. Parking: there was a garage which was paid (my fault for not realizing); but what they don't tell you is that the street is closed off in the evenings because the police are right across the street. It was really annoying. 3. It was expensive considering how bad it was. I've stayed at other 2-star hotels, even in Greece, and they were so so much better. 4. Window looked into a little lichthof-type space. 5. There was AC but it was *so so loud* and very slow. That being said, the staff was very nice. Don't know how this is an 8/10 place though.

Okay for the price.
Toilet seat was broken off completely and was never replaced, even after asking for it twice. Room service also forgot to leave fresh towels once and it took three visits to the reception (over the course of two days) before we got new ones.
