At 6:30pm, I received a late check in text from the property. At that time I figured it was just in case I arrived at a late hour. I arrived at the property at 7:10pm, only to find the office closed.
In the check in text, the office had randomly assigned me an upstairs room without first asking if I might prefer a downstairs (as I have bad knees, a downstairs room would have been much better).
After I got to the room and set myself up, I turned on the tv, only to find I had no picture. I texted the service number provided by the property - twice, without receiving any response. After some research, I found which company provided the cable for the property and searched their website. Over an hour after arriving at the room, I finally had tv.
When I went to check out in the morning, the office was still closed, so I texted the number from which they sent me the late check in text to inform them that I was checking out.
This property is the first where I have experienced these issues with check in and out.
