Heerlijke plek om mijn kerstvakantie te beginnen. Mooi huisje leuke omgeving Vriendelijk ontvangst Wij konden ook nog eten in de avond laat. Zwembad mooie tuin direct wat dieren te zien. Lekker bij het vuur in de avond je kan buiten maar ook binnen zitten. Drie soorten apen in de ochtend gezien. Dus perfect gehad want ook genoeg te doen daar in de buurt Wij zijn naar coffee plantage geweest

Wij zijn een gezin van vier personen. Bij aankomst in Tanzania was dit ons eerste verblijf en een heerlijke plek om na een lange vlucht bij te komen. De lodge heeft een mooie geschiedenis, oogt romantisch en knus omdat de lodge omringt is met bomen, bamboe en dieren. De Colobus apen vertoeven in de bomen, omheind lopen er buffels, zonkies en mooie vogels waarvan ik naam niet meer weet. Kortom je achtertuin waar je ontbijt en dineert is een dierentuin. Een prachtig en bijzondere beleving om daar te verblijven. Elke avond maken zij een heerlijk kampvuur om na het diner nog lekker te kunnen bijkomen en opwarmen. Een heerlijk zwembad met mooi uitzicht. Ons verblijf was prima, werden gelukkig geen één keer wakker gemaakt door apen. De bedden sliepen heerlijk, er was voldoende ruimte en met een boiler hadden wij altijd warm water. Alleen miste ik haakjes en planken om wat spullen op te leggen. Het personeel en de eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en spraken goed Engels. Laundry werd netjes verzorgd (tegen betaling) en dat was snel. Absoluut een aanrader om te verblijven en vanuit hier Arusha stad en Arusha National Park alsook Mount Meru and the waterfalls te bezoeken.

This lodge is beautiful and offered a quiet place to rest and relax after a long flight from Canada. Our cottage was spacious and welcoming. The staff were very kind and patient. The food was delicious! We spent one afternoon driving to see Mt. Kilamanjaro. We highly recommend this lodge for those of you arriving or leaving through Arysha.

This lodge is a beautiful and peaceful place. It feels like you are tucked away in nature, surrounded by lots of trees and with game in the background. All the staff are extremely friendly and go the extra length to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and very clean and consist of everything you would need. Also, the food in the restaurant is amazing, the chef is very good! We had great lunches and dinners here. The breakfast is delicious with lots of different options. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back. This is the perfect place when you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat when traveling to Arusha!

This hotel is a little oasis of calm on the way to or from a safari. The staff are amazing. Very kind and really go the extra mile to help you. Housekeeping is exceptional, the restaurant and reception staff are incredibly well meaning and the massages are amazing. We went to visit an orphanage while we were there which was life changing.

This was our overnight stay after we arrived in Tanzania from Kenya on the second half of our safari adventure. We wish we'd had more time to enjoy the lodge. The room was very spacious and well-appointed with a good bathroom and shower. There's mosquito netting around the bed. There's so much history and interesting architecture and gardens to explore. We arrived too late for dinner but did have a nice breakfast before we headed to Tarangire National Park. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful Stay!!! We had a blast. The food and the people who work there are awesome. We felt really welcomed after our climb Kilimanjaro. Also the whole location is really pretty, clean and charming. The wine card is huge and the coffee is great. Thank you so much.

The Meru Game Lodge exceeded all of our expectations on our first trip to Africa! Gorgeous landscaping, comfortable beds, friendly and attentive service, delicious, fresh and healthy food, and lots of interesting and fun things to do on site or nearby! We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in Arusha or nearby.

We decided to stay after a recommendation and are so glad we did. The lodge is in a lovely location and the rooms are spread around beautiful grounds. Our room was full of character with a really comfortable bed. We enjoyed watching the zonkeys from the restaurant patio. The food was the best we enjoyed in Tanzania with a good variety of options and at very reasonable prices. All of the staff we encountered, from Harry the owner who went out of his way to welcome us, through to the reception and restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the bush TV with a gin and tonic. We would definitely stay again.
