Mooi hotel aan Lago Maggiore op korte loopafstand van mooi centrum van Arona Ruime kamer, kleine badkamer en balkon met uitzicht op het meer. Balkon heeft wel wat schoonmaak onderhoud nodig. Ontbijt ruime keus ook met vleeswaren en ei. Ontbijtzaal ook met uitzicht over meer.Tafels en stoelen in ontbijtzaal niet efficiënt ingericht. De oude grandeur van 4 sterren straalt er vanaf maar heeft wel een opfrisbeurt nodig

Prima hotel op loopafstand van het centrum met gratis parkeergelegenheid. Bijzonder uitgebreid en goed verzorgd ontbijtbuffet. Ruime kamer met balkon en airconditioning. Mooi uitzicht op het Lago Maggiore. Vriendelijk personeel , goede ontvangst .

I didn't like:
- hard to reach the train station/bus stops (but the hotel cannot do anything about it)
- old amenities and some spiders in the rooms

The hotel looks pretty bad and run down from the outside, but inside it is lovely and warm and welcoming, it looks like it's had a refurbishment. The staff were lovely, the room was lovely and so was the breakfast. Best views from a hotel I've had for years too. I couldn't fault the hotel other than outside appearance.

Property was lovely and great value for money. The beds were changed everyday and the views over the lake were incredible!!! The breakfast was good with enough options to keep most people happy. Can’t complain at all about the stay. The view is what made it for us!

Hotel has the best view over lake. Parking is tight but appreciative it is next to hotel and free. We had dinner at their restaurant the first night and will not be back. Pasta carbonara is horrible. The pasta was so under cooked it stuck to my teeth. The gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce was paste-like with no flavor. The waiter never came back to ask how our meal was. He was very attentive to the other 3 occupied tables as they spoke Italian. Felt like we were invisible. It is our fault we didn’t complain, but didn’t think it would matter. Approximately $40, one of the more expensive meals and definitely the worst.

No AC in the room they gave me.
Nice that they did book and send me to another hotel in the area.
Not nice that I had to drive into the other hotel at 10:00pm at night
