This is a wonderfully isolated property; quiet, restful and with amazing staff. Despite the isolatoin it is well situated for exploring Assisi and the suronding towns. The photographs capture the unique beuty of this place. The restaurant offers some of the best food I've had. For a basis we travel to Italy every spring. The excellence of service. The restauant manager takes great pride in the food and service. Nearly all the food is locally sourced. The only challenge with the property is getting there. The last mile into the property is an improved but rutted dirt road. We were in sports car and could not drive the final mile into the property. The staff generously would drive us to and from a parking lot below the town of Armenzano. The owner informed us that they are improving the road this month (May 2024)

We had a fantastic time in this little gem of a hotel. We were travelling with our four-months twins and the hotel was very comfortable for both us and them. The view from the garden of the entire valley is breathtaking. Maitre Simone and waitress Milena made sure we had a great evening at the restaurant (do yourself a favour and order the tartare!). Simone was really the highlight of the evening, so welcoming and knowledgeable about the territory and the local produce.

This is a unique property in the middle of a National Park. Yes the road leading up to it is winding and narrow and rutted but again it is in the middle of nowhere and we have driven roads like this all over Italy to get to beautiful places.
Some of the outdoor areas are not as manicured as I’m sure they once were but overall the surrounding scenery more than makes up for it.
The restaurant has a limited excellent menu and the team headed by Simone is very welcoming. Also enjoyed his choice of music!
We found the room very clean with beautiful views from the outdoor space although the bathroom could use a refresh as quite dated. The sunsets were beautiful followed by an amazing night sky.
If you love to be removed from the hustle and bustle, eat good food and drink great wine have incredible views but be close enough to Italian towns full of incredible history then you should stay here.

The road to the hotel from ASSISI side is very difficult to drive, especially in the night.
Because all the way is through a forest, 12 km of narrow slalom bumpy road + 2 km of dirt road

La struttura centrale è situata in posizione molto isolata vicino al piccolissimo borgo di Armenzano, da cui si raggiunge percorrendo un paio di km di strada sterrata. Noi abbiamo soggiornato presso il “casale”, una struttura ancora più decentrata ed isolata, in una piccola radura in mezzo al bosco … da favola. Il nostro appartamento era il “35“, dotato di una ampissima sala con camino e angolo cottura in cui poter posizionare fino a 3 letti singoli. Vi sono anche una seconda camera con letto matrimoniale e un bagno modernissimo e spazioso con doccia e asciugacapelli. All’esterno un ampissimo e curato prato con tavoli e sedie, altalena, ecc. Raccomandatissimo a tutti coloro che amano pace e tranquillità in mezzo alla natura.

sono stato con mia moglie e i suoi genitori ed è stata una bella esperienza. si raggiunge con un pò di strada anche sterrata, ma ne vale la pena. splendida struttura immersa nel verde e ottimo ristorante. personale cordiale e disponibile. consigliata!

Un site exceptionnel, bon accueil. Un lieu de promenade dans une immense propriété en pleine nature. Dépaysement assuré La cuisine du restaurant est très bonne, tout est fait maison avec des produits locaux. accueil sympathique de Carlo.

Siamo capitati casualmente l'Anno scorso in questo splendido posto e quest'anno abbiamo deciso di ritornarci per 2 notti. Avevamo bisogno di un paio di giorni di totale relax e questo e'il posto ideale. La struttura storica e'curata nei minimi dettagli e lo staff rende il tutto molto accogliente: caminetti accesi alla reception, al ristorante e al bar. Abbiamo cenato 2 sere al ristorante coccolati da Simone e la ragazza in sala che ritroviamo anche alla colazione. Speravamo di ritrovare anche quest'anno Simone e per nostra fortuna e'stato cosi. Molto accogliente, flessibile e pronto a metterci a nostro agio. Il cibo e'di ottima fattura cosi come la materia prima. A fine cena ci piace sempre consumare un digestivo seduti nelle comode poltrone del bar poste di fronte al caminetto. La mattina, la ragazza che ci ha servito a cena ci ha acceso il caminetto e proposto di fare colazione dove ci piace bere il digestivo. Cosa apprezzatissima. Piacevolmente colpiti dal servizio (anche della reception), non tralasciamo il commento sulle stanze e sulla colazione anch'esse di livello superiore. Speriamo di ritornare ancora, continuate con la stessa professionalita'che vi contraddistingue
