Le Relais Saint Michel

Great location. Can’t check in before 4pm even the room is ready, no bath towers in the room initially and a wrong bill in the restaurant. Be very careful when booking in hot days because there are no air conditioners in the hotel (including the restaurant) and there are no windows can be opened in the room. In our case, outside was 23 degrees around the mid night but it’s still 34 degrees in the room.

Visitor with car needs to get code to enter the premises, but the hotel did not inform us and cannot br reached. We try to contact the hotel but always answered by AI. We end up walking 800m to the premises to get the code at the reception. During stay, out coffee machine does not work but nobody pick up our call. We finally going down to the lobby and find out nobody's there. And our room, room 107, turn out to be restricted view, there's pole that block the Mont St Michel view from the room... very dissapointed. Will never stay there again....not recommended at all..

Nearest to Mont St Michel island - much appreciated when you enjoy the walk to/from the crowded Abbey! The views from our room on 2nd floor and the restaurant were amazing. Excellent French cuisine and service at the restaurant! The ladies from front desk were all helpful and friendly too. Direct parking at the hotel, that’s a privilege staying here, although our access code didn’t work at first.  No regrets paying more to stay at this hotel for Mont St Michel!

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view of Mont Saint-Michel while having breakfast. Really enjoyed the stay.

Not sure if this happens on room 111 only or not. There is no shower curtain at the bathtub. Please add it back immediately! The bathroom always get wet and flood the whole bathroom after shower. Also please fix the door latch. It is difficult to close the door completely and we needed force to shut the door so the latch can be tug into the slot.

Best for a quick break for business trip, nice and easy, no hassle, and of course very good view

The location is the best. It's the first hotel before the bridge to Mont Saint-Michel and the shuttle bus service that takes you there is just outside the hotel. This room on the first floor had a view of barrage, it's clean and functional, but looks really tired and dated. The room is really warm with the flat roof structure outside the windows trapping all the heat. We had 2 furbabies and it was great the hotel is pet friendly. Dinner with the halfboard option was pretty good but our preferred choice was not available due to a large tour group having dined before us. Breakfast had a good spread, with a splendid view of Mont Saint-Michel. It's really pricey for what it is.

The lady front desk receiptionist’s altitude is bad

It was very nice to go through the barrier and stop not at the remote parking, but close to road to the abbey. Check-in is at 4pm. By 3 pm the room was “not ready”. Did not like rip off with the dinner bill. The room ok, with excellent views, a bit worn, not all sockets worked well
