The hotel rooms are basically two-story wooden detached houses with a very good environment, just like in the forest. The staff is very welcoming, the hotel facilities are great, the pool is beautiful, the buffet breakfast and dinner are plentiful. It's not too far to live here after watching Lion Rock.

We stayed here for just one night to visit the sites of Anuradhapura but we would have happily stayed longer! It was absolutely terrific value for money - the room was large and spotlessly clean, and fresh towels etc were all provided. The service from the staff was also excellent - we arrived when it was absolutely pouring with rain and we were helped in with umbrellas and shown to our room. We were also driving our own car so can confirm that parking was easy and the gated front made the parking feel secure. We paid for breakfast in the morning where we had string hoppers with fish curry and sat at a little table outside to eat where there were nice flowers pots and a real effort had been made with the little garden. The food was delicious and great value. This is a budget hotel so guests expectations must be in line with that - for the price this far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located in Anuradhapura, with beautiful pagoda ruins visible across a large lake. The environment of the hotel is quite beautiful, and the swimming pool is also very good. The supply of buffet breakfast is not stable. We stayed for 4 nights in a row. Breakfast was buffet breakfast on two days and set meal on two days. The explanation given by the hotel was that the buffet breakfast was not open because the tour bus had left and there were too few people. Anyway, it’s quite interesting to have a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Picture 1 is the set breakfast we had (the portions were huge), and Pictures 2 and 3 are the buffet breakfast.

Place is lovely . Rooms are super comfortable, Price is reasonable and the Shehan & family did the best to make us feel at home. Excellent breakfast. Interior is good but need to improve the front garden immediately to give more attraction to this lovely Inn. l Best Regards...!!!
