The hotel is very new, clean, stylish and convenient. Breakfast is very good and healthy. Restaurant offered high quality food. We will stay again. Only one thing was my room was right above the restaurant kitchen I think. I could smell cooking smell from the washroom. The music was loud as well. I guess upper floor should have no issues. Reception was very helpful as well.

A trendy place to stay, newly built and in a very good spot of the town, Angra Do Heroismo.
I chose 18c chill on the a/c and it came out hot air. The hotel says they only put heat at a/c in winter, but March is spring, right..why customers have to wait until June to have cool air?

We stayed here for a entire week, and very glad we did. The Shipyard is perfectly located close to the marina and all the main attractions in Angra (close walking distance to all the great restaurants and shop). Parking was very easy, the property was immaculately clean, the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was a full breakfast with many options. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I hope to come back soon!

Second time here. We enjoy this property very much. Modern and clean. Close to downtown, waterfront and Monte Brazil. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Even a small gym! We can walk to everything we need.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches: the welcome pastry, the awesome free breakfast, they even packed us a lunch for our departing flight! And parking was great

The rooms were outstanding, modern and large. The balconies and windows were out of this world. We had a great view of the fort and the ocean.
I'd go back to the Shipyard in a heartbeat. The personnel were outstanding, especially Laura!

Very modern, everything is electronic. Clean, simple, and pleasant design. The rooms have a facade of fake mirrors that are not very useful/functional. Despite the first photo on ******* being of a pool, we were told there is no pool. Convenient location, very walkable, and has the only Michelin star restaurant on the island.

We loved everything about our stay. The staff was also courteous and accommodating. The location is great because it is walking distance to where the majority of shops and restaurants are but still quiet at night. Parking our rental car was easy with a garage below the hotel. Lastly, our room was a good size and included a kitchenette and breakfast at the hotel each morning was amazing.

The Shipyard Angra was an amazing place to stay and explore the island of Terceira from. There is a spacious garage underneath the hotel where we parked our rental car. The room was amazing, they upgraded us from a studio to an apar**ent, so nice! Spacious, with sitting area, a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and automatic curtains. There were robes in the bathroom and rituals soap. The staff was very nice and helped us arrange a whale watching tour. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of variety to choose from. At the end of our stay, they even gave us a late checkout!
