Swiss Chalet

Great location as it's located near the Walking Street & Wild Aces poker room. There are plenty of mini-marts near the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly (always greet guests) and diligent in allowing/disallowing 'unknown guests' into or leaving the hotel (for security reasons). There is also affordable laundry service available. It's unfortunate that there was an up-grading in some of the rooms, thus having some noise pollution during the daytime. I noticed that the water source has a strong 'iron/metal smell' which I'm not comfortable with. The housekeeping has done a good job too (well done!).

Great stay, great staff, great location

2000년 초반에는 클락 워킹스트릿 최고의 호텔이었는데 지금은 좋은 호텔도 많이 생겨 솔직히 시설은 별로이지만 아직까진 위치상으로 최고의 호텔이라 생각함,

房間很乾淨，服務人員熱情客氣，飯店地點離步行街很近，值得入住

價格便宜是亮點，洗衣服務價格親民100p2kg

Great big meals. The menu is huge. Certainly not fine dining but eat here when you want a hefty hearty meal. I and various mates have eaten here over 10 times. Good bar but limited knowledge of cocktails and mixers. The Salad station is small but what is there makes a wonderful addition to the meats. Value++. Helpful security guard here. Waitresses can be a little slack but overall one of the best mid range eats in the city.

コロナ明けの2023年5月初に宿泊。先に泊まっていたPentHouse Hotelに問題があった(別のレビュー参照)ため、予約を捨て、至近にあるこのホテルに移動。 Agoda予約で、5kJPY弱。立地は最強。WSど真ん中からほんの少しだけ入ったところ。部屋は、スイートに次ぐところにしたこともあり、広め。ただ、広々というよりは、だだっ広いというか、あまり空間を有効活用できていない感じはある。☆☆☆なので、そんなものかもしれない。照明は、他の人のレビューにもあるように、若干弱め。ただ、ベトナムのもっと☆のあるホテルでも弱いところあるため、東南アジア的なものなのかもしれない。wifiはまずまず。あまり長時間ストレスを感じることはなかったが、時々不意に途切れる。しかし、すぐ復旧する。NHK映るのは、日本のテレビを観られない環境にいる人にはgood。近場には、よろず屋の延長的なコンビニが2軒。1軒は、かなり遅くまで空いている。JFなしは当地では普通だが、IDチェックもなかった。ここと、素通りで部屋にエントリーできるRedPlanetくらいかもしれない。他方、入る人はおばちゃん等女性が絶えずウオッチしているので、相対的には前のホテルより安心感ある。金庫あり。 一点のみ、☆☆☆☆にできなかった理由。水道管が旧いのか、出てくる水があまりにも鉄臭い。蛇口も、シャワーも。結構なお金がかかってしまうかもしれないが、この点だけでも早急に改善してほしい。隣接しているレストランは、残念ながら試す機会がなかった。ただ、味とコストにうるさい欧米人で毎晩賑わっていたので、おそらく美味しいかと。次回試したい。
