Relatief grote maar erg fraaie lodge in het midden van Amboseli park. Rondom de lodge ligt een verlaten spookdorp dat jaren geleden is overstroomt maar nooit meer is herbouwd / opgeknapt. Hier merk of zie je in de ‘groene oase’ echter niks van. De lobby, de bar en het restaurant zien er authentiek en gezellig uit. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het uitzicht op de savanne met onder meer de olifanten en zebra’s is natuurlijk fantastisch. In de tuin ligt een (klein) zwembad met circa 20 ligbedden en kom je overal bavianen tegen. De kamers (huisjes) zijn ruim met lekkere bedden en badkamer met een prima douche. Iedere avond komt het personeel langs om de klamboe rond het bed te sluiten, de gordijnen dicht te doen en de lampen aan zodat je na het eten bij wijze van direct het bed in kunt stappen. Het eten in buffetvorm is bovengemiddeld goed met veel keuze en variatie. De prijzen voor drankjes liggen op Europees niveau. Koffie en thee is trouwens gratis. Tijdens ons bezoek waren er grote groepen Chinezen, Amerikanen en een handvol Europeanen. Ik weet niet hoeveel lodges het park telt maar ik zou deze zonder twijfel weer boeken.

Een top lodge op een toplocatie, super vriendelijke bediening, eten top, kamers zeker geweldig voorzien van alle comfort, het eten zijn ook volledig in buffetvorm, midden in het Amboselinationalpark dus geen gedoe om eerst km te rijden en dan pas dieren te zien, deze zijn vanuit uw kamer zelfs zichtbaar.!! Topper en genoten we komen terug

WOW. I was blown away by this incredible experience. The rooms were amazing, the views breathtaking. We had incredible staff, including Ronald who was our server for both breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the pool, the bar, the food, and the atmosphere. Excellent location and a great start to our safari journey .

The staff was wonderful. The service was always top notch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Every place we stayed on our trip was this way. I haven't travelled anywhere in the world where I felt as welcome by the staff as I have in Kenya and Tanzania. The rooms are a little dated, but everything was clean and perfectly functional. It had a sort of rustic feel to it. We had perfect views of Kilimanjaro while we were there. I would definitely recommend this place if you visit Amboseli.

What a stunning place!! We spent three days on safari and this was my favourite lodge. You can’t beat drinking a Tusker looking out on Amboseli and seeing elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodges were gorgeous and really spacious and the food was delicious. Only downside for me staying in a room with two teenage girls were the bugs!! Not a good combination!! Haha!

Beautiful hotel in the Amboseli National Park. Staff are really helpful and very friendly. Food is varied and delicious. Rooms are spacious and really cosy. The main entrance, the bar and restaurant are stunningly decorated. Even if this is a swampy area and it's hotter than other locations, the lodge wooden structure and all the plants and trees around, manage to cool down the heat. The location is wonderful! With the Kilimanjaro view on one side and the vast expanse of the park on the other with animals roaming around (this lodge is fenced, though). Highly recommend!

My mother sister and I stayed here for what was only supposed to be one night. After trouble with the safari company we picked we extended our stay to 2 nights. There was originally no space at all. However after the manager Kevin went out of his way to help he found room for us. The food is absolutely excellent. The kitchen staff, waiters/waitresses are extremely happy and attentive. Raphael in particular was absolutely amazing. He was constantly clearing our plates , making us tea and always made sure we made it to watch the Masai dancing in time. Anne and Isaac were great at helping us with our heavy luggage too. The rooms are clean and exactly the right size. We loved the little monkeys running around everywhere too. We absolutely loved our stay here and if we come back to Kenya for safari this accomodation will be top of our list.

Amazing place with beautiful scenery, animals and it’s very clean. They offer very tasty food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are so beautiful and have mosquito net and I really suggest this place. The pool is cool but I couldn’t use it unfortunately. They also offer the game drive and the have a nice shop for buying souvenirs.

The stay in the Lodge was amazing.It was our 1st wedding anniversary and also same day was my birthday.Thank an amazing decoration in our room and also an amazing celebration with the staff.Our room was always clean(Jackson amazing work),our check-in went smooth(Kelvin amazing work) for our dinning experience out of this work(Dennis you Rock my guy) and all the other staff."EVERYONE ROCK'
