Sul servizio c'è ancora spazio da migliorare(il giorno di arrivo, mi continuava a chiamare finché io risponda, per dirmi che si è anticipato l'orario di check-in, ok ho capito, ho chiesto gentilmente al ragazzo una bottiglia d'acqua perché non c'era minibar, ma forse l'ha dimenticato, quindi comprendo) però solo per la vista e posizione spettacolari, lo consiglierei, è il vostro punto forte!

Hotel La Nina Check-in was friendly and professional. Be careful of the stairs as stairs off the street down (about 22 steps) to check-in with a looped rope for a railing, so be careful while carrying luggage as dangerous. Rooms 1,2,3,4 off breakfast area. Room 5 (junior suite with balcony) and 6 have a spiral type staircase down from the checking/ breakfast area again without railings, which is not good for carrying luggage. This hotel is 2 km outside of Amalfi, but Sita busses 5120, 5070, etc. stop in front of hotel 50 M to the right at the Frazone Lone bus stop right beside the cross walk. Download the schedule. Hotel side of road to take you into Amalfi for food, etc. and drop you off back on opposite side coming back from Amalfi and €1.50 if buy ticket at stores (on main road in Amalfi to right before going up to Piazza Duomo there is a book shop down past blue door) Breakfast is good. The fresh croissants are amazing. You complete a card with a check list of breakfast items the day before with a chosen time. Items include plenty of coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, baked goods, meats, cheese and juice. The lady who does breakfast is friendly, kind, hard and working. There is one male who would smoke out the window and drop cigarette ash on the outside porch you were on, and also not helpful. This hotel is fairly clean, but black mold in ceiling areas needs attention. There is not a lot of space in the room but adequate. Get ready to crawl out of bed in the junior suite and stairs to the bathroom.Bed and pillows are comfortable. Plastic drinking cups in the room, wine cork remover but no wine glasses, but got some from the bar. There isn't a kettle in the room but they will provide tea for €4 I understand kettles were removed as somebody cooked noodles in the kettle.Not sure why other people have to be punished by the stupidity of a few. There is a safe with key in the room. The man who smokes out the breakfast room windows dropping ash on the balcony is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. The view is amazing and that's what you are paying for. ……location, location, location. Everywhere in the hotel appears to be near or below the lobby / check-in / breakfast room as it is a very small hotel of maybe 6 rooms, was noisy when it got busy.

We stayed at the Hotel Laninfa in mid-October 2023. We chose the hotel largely on the basis of some very attractive photographs posted on the *********** website (German language version) and decent reviews posted there. Had I bothered to check the English language reviews, we would have saved a lot money and trouble. After a two day stay at a very good hotel in Capri, the stay at the Hotel Laninfa turned out to be a real disappointment. The hotel was quite distant from the centre of Amalfi and the road to the town, large chunks of it missing sidewalks was not the safest. The hotel room that we were assigned was a real shock. The room boasted a fantastic view, but unfortunately very little else. It was very small, so small in fact that despite the fact that the bed was crammed against the wall, there was no space for chairs. We were provided with an office chair, which we were constantly moving around to cross the room. The closet meant for two persons was far too small - we ended up leaving most of our clothes in our suitcase. For want of space we ended up leaving the suitcase in the shower, which was clearly no intended for ‘bigger’ persons. And the TV hidden above the wardrobe, was a pointless addition. We asked the polite gentleman who checked us in, if we could have another room. We were told that we could move room for one night and then have to move again for the third night. Having prepaid the room in advance we were left with little choice but to stay there.

Great hotel, very clean, organized, well located, and best of all, a wonderful view of the sea.

It was an amazing stay. The hotel had a beach in a really short walking distance which was amazing.

This hotel may have an outstanding view but it's high points end there. Read every bad review on here and steer clear of this place. The 400 steps to the beach is enough, but that's just the start of the shortcomings.

Room was tiny. Fairly clean. Views spectacular. But sun beats into windows. Air conditioning inadequate. Can’t imagine in the summertime. I hit my head on the concrete over the bed niche. Tiny bedside tables. When we went to the breakfast area to have some space it was stuffy and searing hot. The drapes were closed because the sun beat in and therefore no access to the views. Not safely walkable. Very DANGEROUS road. Not recommended for walking at all. You would need to use city bus or pre plan and book taxi or private driver in advance. No way the average person could take 400 stairs to the beach. Website should clearly indicate this. Manager or owner was sarcastic about where to obtain the city bus. Feigned language barrier. We had to leave after 1 day due to all of the above and so far absolutely no response to any attempts to get even a partial refund. Booked through *********** which lists that we never even checked in!!! Scam scam scam! Do not stay here.
