Een parel! Zowel de lokatie, als de bediening. Pal aan zee met fantastisch uitzicht. Voorgerechten waren heerlijk, wij hadden de tzatsiki, meatballs, pitabrood met olijfolie en kaaskroketren. Hoofdgerecht had een van ons specialiteit van t huis -gyros- die heerlijk was. In tegenstelling tot de meeste andere restaurants een uitgebreide wijnkaart en goed advies erbij. de cheesecake was favoriet van de desserts die we hadden. Hier kun je beslist voor omrijden!

Dit is een waar paradijs! Wij waren er 11 dagen met ons drie jarige zoontje. Overdag genoten van het mooie zwembad en de zee. Alles heel netjes en verzorgd! Het huisje is ook heel fijn en dichtbij het restaurant, waardoor wij met de babyfoon elke avond samen konden genieten van de heerlijke keuken. Koken kunnen ze!! Voor boodschappen kan je op loop afstand wat basis producten kopen in een klein supermarktje. 5 minuten rijden verder is een supermarkt met meer keus. Het personeel werkt heel hard en is super vriendelijk! Je kan ook eten en drinken to go bestellen, waardoor je bij je huisje, bij het zwembad/zee of onderweg iets lekkers hebt. Wij komen zeker eens terug!! Nooit eerder een resort gehad dat zo compleet is.

Prachtige vakantie gehad in Zakyntos. We voelde ons echt zeer welkom in het prachtige complex. Vriendelijk personeel die alles deed om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Lekker eten en goede wijn. Wat wil een mens nog meer? Een huurauto is echter wel een must, want het ligt toch wel 10 minuten rijden van Tsilivi.

It’s so relaxing and beautiful here. Lovely staff, food, wine, gardens, pool, sun loungers, beach…and complimentary paddle boards/kayak which are perfect to explore with along the shallow coast line. The accommodation is great, everything you need…beach towels, robes, slippers, fridge/freezer with ice tray. There’s a little shop nearby which is open 7 days a week for all your essentials. Everywhere takes cards, but if you use cash then take it with you or get it at the Airport on arrival, as the nearest cash point is a drive away, or use Porta del Mar’s complementary bikes!

Wow! What an amazing place! We have just retuned from a fabulous 5 night stay at Porta Del Mar. We visited for my sisters wedding. I found Porta Del Mar when originally looking for venues for my sisters wedding. As the wedding planner I exchanged numerous emails with the owners Tasos and Myrto, both of whom were excellent and answered all my questions. The location did not disappoint! We hired out all the accommodation and every one of the guests had a wonderful time. The accommodation is beautiful, myself and my family (husband and 2 daughters) had the two bedroom apartment, which had wonderful views and was close to the swimming pool. Our room was perfect and large enough so that we could all get ready together on the morning of the wedding. All the staff were lovely, and worked so hard to make my sister's day special. The food in the restaurant was amazing, our only regret is we didn't eat there more often throughout our stay! The beach was lovely and we spent a lot of time down there, the canoe and SUP provided were lovely touches and were well used by our family. All that is left to say is thank you so much to everyone at Porta Del Mar, you were wonderful!

Really a lovely place. Every morning breakfast with a most fantastic view. In the evening same view but with totally different colours becaus of the sunset. But what really makes the difference are the people who are running this place. They make you feel special and will do anything to give you wonderful memories.

Our seventh stay. We have been at this family run hotel right from the beginning. It has continuously developed. Beautiful houses and flats build in the historic Greek/Venetian style. All with breathtaking views on the Ionian Sea. You can cater yourselves with a well equipped kitchen in the houses or just use them as a hotel room since they are cleaned every day. There’s access to a private beach and the mild, clear water with water temperatures around 27 *C. In the afternoon a delightful northern breeze makes the lovely outside dining area with the exquisite food a perfect place to stay. But what always was most important for us was the friendliness of the Rigas family. Their warm, welcoming attitude and the relentless efforts to solve problems for their guests. Most beautiful place ever seen. I’ve never had such a feeling, like in a luxury retreat. Rooms, complex, pool, sea and the nice family hosts make it an unforgettable vacation. The food and the wine is extraordinary.

Superb location with superb views of the Ionian Sea and Kefalonia. Wonderfully frindly staff who went out of their way to make the stay relaxing and highly enjoyable. Food was also excellent. Highly recommended.
