Frozen Woods Resorts

This is my third visit to Frozen Woods and I've really enjoyed my stay. I have seen it in different seasons and there is always something new to explore, see or simply relax within the homestay. It is a very cozy and rustic space and the staff makes you feel very much at home. Its perfect if you want to unwind, read, write or just enjoy a breathtaking view with amazing weather in most of the months. They make some delicious food, and the whole space has a lovely peaceful vibe. Highly recommended for groups of friends, couples, small families, birdwatchers and nature loving enthusiasts. PS: The host is himself an incredible photographer and birdwatcher himself who can recommend more places, short trails and nature walks too!

We stayed at Frozen Woods for a couple of days in Oct 2023. This is a great place to take your family to relax and soak in the beauty of the Himalayas. The location is excellent with a great view of the Kumaon range from the balcony. Food and service are good. The property has been very tastefully designed. I am a birding enthusiast and got plenty of nice shots on the property itself. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we hope to be back before long.

Hey, went there with friends and it was the best decision to stay in Frozen Woods Resorts. Rooms were too good and clean. Best part was view and food. People who love to write books, trust me this is the best place for you. One of the best part of this resort is that this resort is pet friendly. Mr. Manoj (Owner) is gem of the person and take care of pets like anything. Mr. Manoj personally takes interest in ensuring the stay is comfortable and everything that's needed is taken care of. Would love to recommend everyone for this property.

Best trip ever had in life and the major input was from Frozen woods resort who helped and made the trip memorable. Beautiful view from the room, peaceful place, excellent hospitality, excellent food, full cooperation from staff. Everything was perfect. Would love to visit them again.

It is a good resort with a scenic view .. very cooperative host MR Manoj and manger MR Mohit … good staff .. overall a pleasant experience there . Good parking facility and open area with mountains view ..quite and peaceful far away from the big markets . Improvement needed : 1. Washrooms can be made Better 2. Rooms need a mirror 3. Food needs to be more delicious as there are less food outlets nearby

It’s amidst nature, with beautiful views of the Himalayan range. Non commercial, homely, with great local food. Mohit the manager keeps in mind the smallest of requirements. Takes full care of all your needs and wants, looks after small children. They’ll help you plan local tours and treks, nature trials or just help set up a non fire or a superb barbecue. The owner is the property is also a wonderful guy who’ll spend time with you and discuss things he’s done around, visited, and how he set up the property etc. An excellent non conventional resort, a must stay for people looking for some quiet time away from the hustle of commercial towns like Mukteshwar.

This was my second trip to Mukteshwar and even at one of my favourite resorts in India, Frozen Woods. The owner Mr Manoj is very helpful and the staff was always there to assist us during our stay. Food was delicious and we didn't even try food at any other place. The chef cooked whatever we wanted to have on our request and it was lip-smacking. If you are looking for a surreal experience then do visit Mukteshwar and stay at Frozen Woods Resort. I am sure, you would love it.

It’s been 6 years since I am visiting Frozenwoods. I have lost the count how many times I stayed. It just feels like my second home. Blessed with amazing Himalayan view, lovely construct of the place, rustic Pahaadi richness that it holds. Manoj, the owner has build it with so much love n passion, and his team including Mohit, the manager and all the boys around don’t let anything go missing. I always enjoy the Pahaadi Food they especially make for us. A must visit place, that will grow on you. 😇
