The hotel itself is amazing but:
- Shower door did not close properly and therefore we got "floods" everyday in the toilet.
- Mosquitos: I do understand that we are in a "wild" enviroment but it was amazing every time we open the curtain of the terrace how were falling many mosquitos. During the night, going to the toilet was an expirience as well. Too many mosquitos...they should try to do something with this.
- Meals: they do not include beverage, its normal until you are charged 3'5€ for an opened bottle of water when they should serve or at least give the option to have it for free since the law says that.
- Checkin: the girl of the counter just told us, "hey scan this QR code and everything is explained", why shall I download an app of the hotel? is it so hard to explain just in few second all the activities of the hotel?
- Breakfast: Bakery quality worse than any other hotel I tried...
Speaking about amenities hotel is perfect, big pools, nice decoration, buffet was ok and it has direct access to the beach. Its a pity that the service is not at Barcelo level standards.

Wij verbleven hier van 30 september tot 8 oktober 2022. Als Unique member van Barcelo verbleven we hier voor de 3de keer. In tegenstelling tot voorgaande keren is het ons hier minder goed bevallen. Diverse zwembaden waren afgezet en niet bereikbaar. We kregen geen antwoord op onze vragen waarom dit was. Ook het avondeten heeft aan kwaliteit en diversiteit behoorlijk ingeboet. Jammer. Ook het Unique membership voor wat betreft dagelijks gratis flessen water op de kamer ging eerst na 5 dagen werken. Dit na diverse keren vragen. Voorts veranderde het hotel 2 x in een soort beurs/event. Eén keer een bijeenkomst voor allerlei architecten uit diverse windstreken. De t****e keer een hele grote groep MTB fietsers die in het hotel verbleven met fietsen in de lift en zelfs in de eetruimte. In de avond was het erg druk met een geheel ander publiek dat normaal gesproken niet in een Barcelo hotel verblijft. Bij veel hotelgasten vernam ik dezelfde ergernissen. Helaas is onze ervaring minder positief dan vorige keren.

We appreciated that our room was spacious and had a nice view. After parking our car it was not easy to find the elevators to get up to reception. You must find a narrow door (that looks like an emergency exit) and is poorly labelled (grey print on white background) in a poorly lit area. We had trouble getting our room warm enough. We ordered room service but it was delivered without the plates covered so our food was not hot. Breakfast had some vegan options but we had to ask for soy milk. The cook was very kind and made us a special plate of cooked vegetables. All the staff were very friendly and patient as I practiced my poor Spanish. The building needs some maintenance.

Fantastic stayed During the Copa del Mar 2024 at Hotel Barcelo, we really liked it, it is a good hotel with very good and quality staff, we came in two groups, we all liked it.

We have been here before and like it very much. The food quality, cleanliness and location are all first class. This was quite early in the season so not everything was open/available but that didn't detract from what is a very good hotel.

Barcelo is in a fantastic position with fantastic sea views staff were all lovely and helpful we would recommend them even though we did have a problem with hard mattress on bed but staff did have it changed but it was the same kind very hard they would benefit from having a few different kinds soft,medium and hard to suit the person requirements with health problems but as I seid staff did try but they seid they use the same on all beds.The pool areas are beautiful and the ground are so beautiful and well looked after.

The service from your staff was excellent and how clean every think was and in good quality. The rooms were big and the beds in the room were good to rest and to sleep in and they gave you a good sleep.

MUY DECEPCIONADA Y ENFADADA.TENEIS PUBLICIDAD ENGAÑOSA SOBRE LA PISCINA CLIMATIZADA. TENIA QUE HABER PUESTO HOJA DE RECLAMACIOMES QUE NO PUSE PORQUE LOS TRABAJADORES ME DIJERON QUE ES UN MITO LO DEL AGUA CALIENTE....MI HIJA DE 4 AÑOS SE VOLVIO MUY TRISTE Y SIN PODER BAÑARSE. A pesar de que el hotel está bien , caro, pero bien, el parking es caro pero hay aparcamiento al lado, el buffet es poco variado pero buena comida , y el desayuno si es estupendo, y las habitaciones muy bien no falta detalle en el baño , y una cafetera en la misma habitación, la habitación me a sorprendido para bien, buena limpieza, buen olor. A pesar de eso , salgo decepcionada, y no volveré al hotel, porque el hotel dice tener una piscina climatizada en el exterior, cuando llamas para preguntar que es una piscina climatizada en el exterior te dicen k si que está en el exterior pero k el agua esta más caliente que la calientan con no se que, una bomba de calor o algo asi, y aseguran k la gente se baña , mentira, la piscina no es para nada climatizada, el agua está fría y no se calienta con nada, como bien dicen , está en el exterior, y fría como las otras , con la única diferencia que es más bajita al tener menos agua si le da el sol se calentará antes pero si no le da el sol , el agua está congelada y por ejemplo no te puedes meter en abril, la piscina vacía,normal, y todo el mundo se acercaba a tocar el agua porque como ami , nos dijeron que es climatizada ,yo y mucha gente llegamos a ponernos el biquini y acercarnos pensando que nos podíamos meter, pero es imposible el agua congelada en abril. No tiene piscina cubierta ni climatizada, lo que tiene es un spa que se paga aparte.
