Hotel Garden

Geweldig hotel, geweldige locatie. Uber is niet nodig - neem gewoon lijn 2 van het vliegveld naar de halte voor medicijnen in de tram. 5 minuten lopen naar de hoteldeur. We kwamen vroeg aan (11: 45 uur) maar we kunnen onze kamer binnen, ook al was deze VOL! U kunt niet fout gaan bij het boeken van dit hotel. Je bent in de stad, dus het is 's nachts niet "stil" op straat. Maar het is een mooi, schoon hotel!

Very pleasant stay at reasonable prices and still in the vicinity of everything Alassio has to offer. Hotels closer to the beach at almost double up, still from this hotel the beach is just a 10 min walk. Helpful staff with a welcoming attitude.

Can I start by saying that the resort of Alassio was a great surprise with an excellent beach and plenty of choice in bars and restaurants. Ok, now the positives are covered I'll talk about the rest, as I mentioned in the title , the air con didn't work, complained to reception and it worked for an hour or so and then failed again, my thought is this was selective on the hotel's part. The room we had was typical budget with very little storage space , it's surprising what you can put on 3 hangars. Breakfast was served in the basement area below the reception, it has open doors which lead to an area of vegetation surrounding a pool of water with terrapins in it, and mosquitos, many, many mosquitos, so beware. Coffees are made to order so be prepared to scrum down with the crowds. On a couple of occasions they had run out of bread with no more to replace it. There aren't enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone when the hotel is busy. I have to give it to the waiter at breakfast who must be one of triplets as his brothers work on the bar and in the restaurant at night. If I'm painting a dark picture of breakfast then please be assured that this is the best meal of the day in this hotel. Evening meals are situated in the building across the road from reception , to start there is a salad bar which is busy and ok I suppose, pasta is the prince and the pauper in every dish, by that I mean it's the main ingredient and of very little taste, as the food is plated you are presented with it and there you go, I've never been able to count chips at a quick glance before. My views just seem to be the same as many others going back years and I find it hard to believe that Shearings haven't acted on them , sometimes an apology isn't enough.

Just returned from Hotel Garden 18th of September 2022 on a Shearings Holiday the food was terrible the rooms very basic with no tea or coffee making facilities the staff where not very nice at times definitely would not recommend this Hotel!

HOTEL COMMUN SANS AME PARTICULIAIRE

We are just leaving after a 6 night stay and counting the minutes to leaving. Shearings, the drivers and trips were wonderful. Hotel is a disaster with few if any redeeming points. Rooms were bare and basis. No air conditioning or air conditioning that worked so most of my fellow travellers also suffered from sleepless nights. No fridge in our room either. The two toilets near reception were for both sexes yet one of them couldn't be locked. The All Inclusive drinks were just cheap nasty local wine and beer plus a few dodgy looking spirits. No diet or sugar free drinks. My husband is diabetic. Everything else had to be paid for and was as expensive as in Cannes etc. No fresh fruit avsilable. On the first morning there was melon only but otherwise syrupy tinned fruit. Some meals were edible others ghastly. We checked out at 10am and had to wait for hours before boarding the coach and the hotel was so mean and petty that they charged for tea, coffee and water. All i can say is i would never ever stay there again and certainly not recommend.

La camera dove ho soggiornato era molto Vecchia, mobili datati. L’ambiente pulito, la colazione con prodotti di bassa qualità sopratutto i salumi.

Nöjda med personal och rum / frukosten var lite väl basis dock …

Mi sono fermata 3 notti con i miei amici. il costo delle 3 notti per ogni camera era di € 225,00 a persona in mezza pensione. Peccato che dopo l'esperienza da mensa aziendale del primo pranzo non ci siamo più fermati nè a pranzo nè a cena.. In compenso mi hanno fatto pagare extra € 20,00 un piatto di pasta per mio nipote che si era fermato con noi a pranzo. Le camere a dir poco indecenti ...unica nota positiva il personale gentile e disponibile.... Non lo consiglierei sicuramente ad amici e conoscenti. Cinzia
