Carnoustie Ayurveda & Wellness Resort

I stayed at Carnoustie Ayurveda and Wellness Resort for a week, and decided to extend our stay for an extra week, so I can thoroughly recommend it as a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul. The resort is beautifully designed, and the peaceful surroundings make it an ideal place to relax. We received a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan from Dr. Mobi Oommen that combined Ayurveda healing, Marma, Yoga, Massage and Pranic Healing. Her knowledge and expertise guided the care and treatment for our stay. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to assist, creating a very welcoming and nurturing environment. The food is wholesome, delicious, and tailored to support your body’s healing process. A big thank you to all the restaurant staff who fed us, made us laugh and went to such trouble to make us feel special. Thanks also to Vishnu and Grokul the masseurs who worked so hard and made me feel so comfortable. Also the guy who made the brilliant towel animals! (Zedgoo?) A special thanks to Dr. Arjun whom took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the principles of Marma therapy to me. The sessions were incredibly effective, Dr. Arjun applied gentle pressure to key points on my body, and managed to pretty much cure the pains in my shoulder knee and feet. I had daily treatment, but I had astonishing relief even in the first few sessions. I honestly thought there was nothing to be done about my feet and shoulder, Dr. Arjun is highly skilled and genuinely cares about his patients, I recommend this therapy to anyone who has pain or has tried other unsuccessful treatments. I left the Carnoustie Resort feeling rejuvenated and really grateful for his help and all of the Ayurvedic team.

Our family went for ayurveda treatment in Kerala India the Carnoustie Wellness Resort. What impressed me about this place that is was peaceful its tranquillity impressed us. The comfort, both the quality food and services received is what was so unique. The friendliness and professional treatment from your front desk to all the staff being the following: laundry, gardening, maintenance, room service, the spar all the restaurant staff the manager Joseph Thomas, Sameer especially the therapists. To the entire Drs team of Dr Mobi, Dr Simsy, Dr Moly and her entire other young Drs your team was amazing, you are very special and well loved by us. We value your learned expertise and assistance. Namaste. I loved Kerala and loved this resort. the staff are all excellent. they treated us like family and went above and beyond for us. A special mention to Joseph at the resurant and Dr Mobi and Surya and Joysiha at the Ayurvedic clinic. The yogi Gopal was amazing and Dr Raj. I cant recommend Carnoustie enough. Loved the free laundry service too and the pool is amazing. Excellent food and vibe.

Carnoustie Ayurveda & Wellness Resort is a place of heavenly bliss, from the reception staff, the taxi drivers, the gardens & maintenance staff, the housecleaning & housekeeping staff, to Dr Mobi & her merry helpers (the therapist), to the meditation Dr and o who can forget Gopalji the yoga master (what an inspiration) he is to us younger folks, he taught me & my family so so much about yoga in it's truest form, we literally held onto every word he said & no he does not talk too much it's just that he has so much knowledge to share and we appreciated that, Thank You Gopalji. When you come to a resort like this it's a holistic experience i.e. from mind body & soul. Just go with the flow, enjoy the foods, the treatments, the staff and the Int'l visitors. A big vote of thanks too Joseph & his team, he has a formidable team behind him, they kept feeding our souls with great dishes, you don't lack for anything just ask Joseph or the other staff in the restaurant they're literally at your beckon call. Besides the treatment & foods, being my high while there my low is that it does get very humid though, I guess we can write that down to climate change. Even better was when my daughter & I snuck thru the back security gate out of the resort at night & found a Church & a Temple across the road from the resort, to our delight we paid our due respects, then took a walk down the road into the village, what a lovely experience to see life thru the eyes of a local, we loved it, thank you Kerala for such an unforgettable experience, GOD Willing we'll be back. The treatments, the special meals, Pranic healing, facilities, ocean front beach, Olympic size swimming pool, customer service, unlike anything we’ve experienced in India. Easily comparable to a 3 to 4-star north American resort. Guests are mostly NRIs, eastern and Western European, etc. We loved it, and highly recommend it to anyone. Very well organized from the daily medical plan to meal plans. Dr Mobi was extremely caring and knowledgeable and her recommendations were easy to understand and implement. Her team, special shout out to Gopi Kumar, the 2 Vishnu’s and Vijin the marma expert were excellent caregivers. The food service team under Joseph Thomas was always available to answer questions and make accommodations within reason and we appreciated it. The management team under Karl and Sandra were always available and very visible to make sure that everything was in top shape on the property. The validation from several other guests who were repeat customers to this resort assured us that we had picked the right treatment resort for us. Thanks to all for the amazing experience.

I came to India and visited this beautiful resort for the first time and happy that it exceeded my expectations. The territory is nice and beautiful. I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff who made our stay and treatment so memorable. Dr. Mobi is a very professional and knowledgeable Ayurvedic doctor, prana healing done by Dr. Moli is very special, something I never experienced before. I liked all the massage therapists. The chef prepared delicious organic and healthy food. You will not notice that it’s a special diet meal. Even being not a vegetarian I enjoyed all the dishes a lot. I returned home very fresh, light, full of energy and positive mood.
