Great place to spend a night before our flight home. The host met us at the door when we arrived and was up at 4:30am to see us off. My wife and I walked to several nice restaurants just 8 minutes away. Very close to the airport, very clean and great value! Had A/C and a refrigerator to keep some food cold. Safe, gated parking but definitely not a lot of room. We had a mid sized SUV which fit fine, but anything bigger would be a tight fit. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Alajuela within a few minutes drive from San Jose airport. It looks like a gated compound in the middle of a street block. Their reception is open only till 6 PM but due to slow holiday traffic we were late and arrived only around 9 PM. The manager was still waiting for us, opened the gate and showed us our room and parking. Our room was actually an apartment with a bedroom, a kitchenette and a laundry room with washer and dryer. All rooms were very clean but there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Other than that, we had comfortable sleep and only needed a few minutes to drive to the airport to catch our flight at 6 AM.

Left my computer and some documents in my room when they found it cleaning the room they called and held it for me, absolutely excellent hotel will come again!

We stayed here the first night we arrived in costa rica. This Hotel is very close to the Airport and in close proximity you have everything you need to equip yourself for traveling the country. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy and all the staff was very nice. We didn‘t want to stay for longer in alajuela, but for our needs this hotel was perfect.

This was a perfect stay for purposes of returning to the airport the next day. The area is very run down and felt unsafe, but inside the gates of the hotel were clean and safe.
Plan on bringing noise canceling headphones to be sure you can sleep. There was lots of traffic and noise outside until 10:00 PM or so. This would not have been a problem if not having to get up at 1:30 AM for a very early flight.
The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. If I were basing my review on the staff alone, it would be 10/10. Great people!

The location is perfect for walking to dining options. My room was very clean with a kitchen and balcony. It got a little noisy from the street noise, but I will definitely return.

We stayed here for one night before flying out of san jose. I was a little nervous at first until i realized the parking was gated inside near the hotel rooms. After getting off the street and into the room, i was pleasantly surprised. The staff ladies were very kind and accomodating and i felt safe staying there. The place was very clean as well. Thank you!
