Westport Inn

Checking in was an easy process all remotely done. Communication with the property management was easy. The property is very well kept and the rooms are absolutely adorable. We were able to park directly behind our own personal unit. Highly recommend staying in this place and I will definitely be back.

What a great experience! Our room was decorated so cute and clean. If you want that at home feel this is definitely the place to go. We called to confirm our reservation and the lady who we spoke to was so helpful and friendly. Finding our room was super easy and convenient to park behind. This will be my go to every time I'm in the Joplin area.

We made a reservation on line. We got to the property at 8:40 pm and since there was no one at the office, called the phone number listed. No answer there either. Left a message to get instructions for check/in. Their voicemail said they would call back ASAP. After 20 minutes, I called again - same results. After 45 minutes, called again and said we were going somewhere else to stay. Terrible customer service. So disappointing.

We've stayed here a few times. Cottages are cute and clean. My only concern was with ck in. If you can't get there by 4, make sure you call them and she will text or email your code to get into your room. We didn't make it because of weather and accident issues on our travels this time, it took a couple hours to reach her to get it. But if you let them know b4 4, it has always worked for us.

The cottage we had at the Westport Inn was darling. It is an historic motor hotel and very well furnished. We arrived at 6 pm and no one was in the office and no answer on the phone number until about 15 min later when we did hear from the owner and could get into our prepaid room. Our information was received by text but when I later asked a question about an available hair dryer, I received no answer.

Very clean and quiet. Convenient for me and close to the airport. Everything I needed without paying for things I didn’t need. I have stayed here before and will again in the future.

Was a nice surprise to stay here. Nice and clean. These are individual cottages so no noisy neighbors.

We will stay here again! Great location, nicely decorated, comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Our unit was a stand-alone cabin with a king-size bed. Reserved parking right behind the cabin. It could have been cleaner but overall we were pleased with our stay.

The pros: The cottage was in a great location. The diner across the street "Babes" was such a treat. Check in was very easy. Air conditioning worked great as did the hot water. The decor was so cute. The mini fridge and microwave were a plus as well. The cons: The wifi was awful and we couldn't watch TV due to buffering. I texted management to see if there was a fix but did not get a response. The bed was very hard and only had two pillows. We also only had 2 towels for two people for 2 nights. Since I did not get a response to my text about the wifi, we just went to the store and bought a couple of towels and pillows. Overall- the place was so so. For $100 a night we could have stayed at a chain hotel with better amenities. Next time we will read the reviews more closely.
