The hotel was recommended by a relative who had visited when it opened last year. Having stayed in the hotel, I was disappointed by its admin and lack of customer care not to mention poor standard of bathroom facilities. In detail, when I booked the room from UK using ***********, I had expectation of paying in full either upon arrival or on exit using my local currency card. Instead the hotel debited my UK card used on booking in full 3 days before my arrival. When I questioned this, I was simply told, hotel policy to minmise hotel loss. Surely if I did not turn up, they can charge my card, isn't that why there is an authorised card in place? Why charge it in advance? Having got in the room after a long journey, I noticed that whilst the standard of the room (very small and compact) was acceptable for the price, I was not happy to see that I would need to stand or sit on the toilet seat to have a shower! The toilet is right next to the shower with no divider. The shower head was visibly naked and loose. In other words not fit for purpose. I went to the reception and requested that either the shower is fixed or my room be changed whilst I went out for dinner. Upon return, they did neither. Just ignored me. Very unhappy.
