We had booked to stay at the Hotel Udai Vilas Palace from April 7 - April 9. However, the experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing. While serving the welcome drink at the reception, the waiter asked us to rush and finish it. There was a broom kept right outside our room window. There was a personal function organised in the hotel on the night of April 7 about which the hotel had given no prior information to the guests. There was loud music which continued till around 11:30 pm. The Hotel refused to lower the volume even after numerous requests to the management. The dinner ordered through room service was bland and cold. During breakfast on April 8, 2023, there was a piece of brick in the poha. All of this was informed to the Manager Mr. Ashok Chaudhary. Basis all the above, we decided to check out a day earlier and the Manager Mr. Ashok Chaudhary agreed that he would give a refund of 1 day after he received a request from the booking website. However, when the request was received from the website, he refused the request. This is completely unethical and amounting to cheating by the Hotel Udai Vilas Palace and Mr. Ashok Chaudhary.
