hotel adults only - goede centrale ligging direct aan zee en aan de promenade (restaurants, bars, winkels). Zeer vriendelijk personeel, steeds bereid om je verder te helpen (enkele issues, oa kapotte safe, defecte koelkast : werd onmiddellijk verholpen). Aanrader zijn de junior suites, ruim en gezellig. Je kan hier ook lunchen in het hotel zelf, lekker en aan aanvaardbare prijzen ; wijn en frisdranken vrij goedkoop, bier is duur. Gratis safe, eenvoudig in te stellen en op goede hoogte in kast geplaatst (meermaals anders meegemaakt). Goede bedden, vrij ruim terras, badkamer zeker ok. !!! Elaoin restaurant : je krijgt bij inchecken een bon met een reductie van 15 % op één reservering in dit restaurant : bij aanmelden voor de sushi avond, blijkt echter dat deze korting enkel eenmalig toegekend wordt voor de gewone à la carte gerechten,... niet echt gecommuniceerd bij de overhandiging van de bon, beetje toeristenval... Al bij al, hotel zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. We wanted a quiet relaxing break and this hotel ticked every box. Great rooms, spotlessly clean. The staff - absolutely everyone was wonderful. Breakfast 10/10. Little extras like the cold flannels offered at the pool were so nice. Spa and trea**ents were very good, I had a few. We came to recharge our batteries and we leave relaxed and refreshed and wanting to come back.

Exceptional! A hotel with everything. Beautiful location on the beach with pool/pool bar. Modern decor. Spotlessly clean with comfortable good sized rooms. Breakfast and Dinner very good. The friendly staff were the hotels best asset. Amazing in every way! We had and excellent holiday and would recommend highly.

My wife and I have stayed here from the 4th August till 11th August and we cannot fault it. All off the staff from management, waiter's and cleaning staff are always friendly and will go out off there way to help you. It is one of the best breakfast choices that I have ever seen with a wide range on offer. Would definitely book to stay here again.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. location was excellent with option of comfortable lounges by the big pool or on the beach. short walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Staff throughout the resort were friendly and accommodating. Marvelous evening entertainment by the pool bar with a master violinist. Adults only also a big bonus. This was our favourite resort in 3 weeks of island hopping through Greece

We recently returned from a trip to the Thalassa Beach Resort. Upon arrival we were given a room which was not to our liking but the reception staff were very helpful and changed our room to a poolside room which was much better, plenty of hanging and drawer space and a lovely bathroom. We were extremely happy there for two weeks. The staff are lovely, very helpful and always with a smile. The beachside taverna, pool and bar area was great. The beach itself is a little rocky in places but we found a way into the sea in between the rocks. As it is adult only the vibe of the hotel was very laid back so much so that we could have stayed another week we were so relaxed! Aghia Marina and Platanias has plenty of tavernas and bars, the food is excellent all local produce but such large portions, we had our favourites and will try a few different ones next year. Thank you so much for looking after us and we have already booked through the hotel to return next year.

This was our first time at this wonderful hotel. We could not fault anything about it. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony with table and 2 chairs with an added bonus of having a clothes area to dry off wet swimwear. We stayed half board and the food at breakfast and dinner was lovely. Plenty of beds around the pool, garden area and on beach. The hotel was clean and staff were all wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Agia Marina is a lovely area with plenty of shops and restaurants and the next resort, Plantanias was also worth walking to. Chania is definitely worth a visit, which you can get to by bus. The bus stop is just across the road from the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break. Thank you to all the staff and management for making our holiday a memorable one.

This was our second time staying at the Thalassa Beach Resort and again we had a wonderful 15 night stay! What makes this hotel special is the extrodinarily friendly and helpful staff (shoutout to Nektarios, Maria, Themis, and many others). The breakfast is the best we've ever had in a hotel anywhere. The rooms are very comfortable and the beach is just lovely. The pool is also great when you tired of the sand and surf. We tried the restaurant Elaion this time and were not disappointed. We also love the Agia Marina neighborhood - lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We'll be back as soon as we can.
