Hotel El Presidente Acapulco

I went with a couple of girlfriends and it was an awesome time, although when I went it was in the 90's but the hotel was clean and the people were very nice. We didnt go as an all inclusive and I am not sure if they have this now but overall it was a good place to stay

I stayed in a "Miramar Suite" from December 18-25, 2022 with 5 family members (6 people total). First the good: Our suite was very large, with lots of glass, a wrap around balcony, and great views of the beach and ocean. The mattress was nice and firm. Most of the employees were nice and helpful (although there were a couple of Adam Henrys who caused problems). The hotel is actually on the beach (although it isn't a great beach for swimming or small kids). Now the bad: The hotel is old, run down, and not well maintained. We had NO HOT WATER the entire week. The safe in the room did not work. They have WiFi but good luck finding a signal (there is good 5G TelCel coverage). We were only given 1 key card for 6 people. There is no on site parking and it can take 10-30 minutes for your car to be brought around by the valet. There are very few outlets (none by the bed) to plug a charger, and the light switches don't make any sense (i.e. the switch next to the bedroom door does nothing, while one of the switches next to the bed controls the TV). The furniture was in bad condition (drawer problems), there were lots of humidity stains/damage on the walls, ill-fitting doors, and missing tiles. The walls were basically bare (no artwork) and there was no cable TV (over air only). One morning I killed a large cockroach in the room and that evening after maid service the roach was still there (easily seen on white tile). We had to utilize the two sofa beds but were not provided with sheets. The maid who came to make up the beds was a little crazy and thought she was part of a love triangle with Gerardo Ortiz and Paulina Rubio (really! She wouldn't stop talking!). We also had to buy our own towels to put down on the bathroom floor because there were no bath mats. Finally, the hotel has a "no outside food or drink" policy that is just plain annoying and petty. The hotel does not have room service so why not let us bring in our own food? We were stopped from bringing in tortas that we had just purchased, while others walked in carrying pizza. The workaround is to either bring things in in a backpack or beach bag, or else enter from the beach/pool side where there is nobody watching the door.

Is the worst hotel in all my trips, all crew is exactly same, bud and rude people, the barroom is bad condition, don’t change the blankets and the towels, inclusive when is a different guest. The mattress is not cushion Is real old. We are 2 people in the room and only one soap by day and the toilet paper one by day, if need more need to bay. They charge by TV remote control and the towels beach. Definitely is the worst place to stay in Acapulco, don’t come in. See for another hotels and see reviews before 😡

i feel for the staff, they are intelegent but have to run the operation like it s a prison. Bad hospitality policy that they use. Also, run down rooms, broken elevator. I would not refer even my enemy to stay there. Lo siento por el personal, son inteligentes pero tienen que dirigir la operación como si fuera una prisión. Mala política de hospitalidad que utilizan. Además, habitaciones deterioradas, ascensor roto. No recomendaría ni siquiera a mi enemigo que se quedara allí.

Excelente la verdad nunca tuve ningún problema. El personal siempre a disposición de todo, con una sonrisa siempre y mucha atención para que la estancia sea muy amena. Lo recomiendo altamente. La calidad es la que se esperaba, no quedé decepcionado.

Muy agradable y seguro el hotel está muy bonito, tiene muy buena vista y ubicación. Fácil acceso a transporte público, tiendas y centros comerciales cerca. A orilla de la playa. el servicio muy bueno.

El hotel muy limpio, el personal muy amable. Hay muchas tiendas cerca del hotel y lo mejor que está a la orilla del mar. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí. Fue una experiencia muy bonita al estar en el hotel, tenía mis dudas si hospedarme en el hotel presidente pero cumplió ampliamente mis expectativas.

Es un hotel que a pesar de ser antiguo, se mantiene muy bien cuidado, tiene un excelente servicio por parte de los trabajadores y ni se diga la vista del hotel es preciosa, yo recomiendo este lugar por ubicación y calidad precio!

El Hotel Presidente ofrece una maravillosa vista a la bahía de Santa Lucía su ubicación es perfecta ya que se encuentra en la zona Dorada del puerto de Acapulco, ademas de cuenta con un servicio de calidad, es un excelente lugar para organizar eventos y por otra parte te ofrece una serie de promociones y descuentos. Es el lugar ideal para disfrutar de un descanso agradable.
