The King size bed and pillows in our room were very comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep. The sofa in the room was also very comfortable, and snacks and drinks were provided. It is better to have the bathtub and shower in the same place, because the two facilities in the room we stayed in were separated, so the floor became very wet. There was no step to isolate the bathroom, and the water on the floor easily overflowed outside the bathroom. What impressed me most was the free handicraft activities for tenants. The handicraft staff were very nice and they had a great time. The finished products were beautiful and a wonderful memory. The board game room and gym were both very good. This should be my third time staying at Zhiben Laoye. The high-quality hot springs, rich natural ecological environment, and high-level services here are the reasons why we chose to spend the New Year here this time. We even watched a flying squirrel fly from the mountain into the tree next to the venue during the New Year's Eve party and stay there for a long time. In the lottery of the New Year's Eve party, the prizes ranged from the most luxurious master suite to the general double room prizes, and the prizes appeared at least 3 or 4 times. This is a very sincere prize arrangement. But there were two regrettable things that happened during this trip. First of all, when we checked in, maybe because of the New Year holiday, the housekeeping staff were overburdened and made some mistakes in cleaning the rooms. When we checked in, there were obvious stains on the sheets in one room. In another bathroom, the bath towels in the drawer where large bath towels are placed are scattered, and there is obvious dust on the bottom of the drawer. Another drawer had remnants of long hair. Although after contacting the housekeeping staff, they immediately apologized and replaced the room, but it was always a bit surprising. The biggest problem occurred in the afternoon of the second day after we checked in. There were five of us except me, who did not go to the swimming pool because of a wound on my hand. The other four people went to the outdoor pool to swim, and all four people came into contact with the floating board. That night, small, itchy red spots began to appear on the area where the float was in contact. The number and severity became more severe the longer the float was used, and it even affected sleep. But I, who did not go to play in the water, was not affected. After checking out and returning home the next day, I was still extremely itchy. I plan to seek medical treatment after get off work today. This is the biggest regret of this trip.

Location was 8min drive from station. It was the newest and most modern hotel in zhiben I feel. It could be 5star standards. The hotel comes with the hot spring which was a really good highlight of trip. I try hot spring in zhiben out in town and it wasn’t better than the hotel’s. That’s how nice it was. Breakfast was repetitive. Can be improved with more varieties for consecutive days. Room was perfect. Clean, big and comfortable bed. This is my first and only choice to stay in zhiben.

The second pavilion in Taitung, Lut, was opened shortly after. The location is very convenient, near the Tiehua Village Transportation Transfer Station, the transportation is convenient. There is a great book space in the basement and a Nakajima kitchen with electric stoves, microwaves, refrigerators and more to cook, as well as free tea bags and biscuits to eat. The overall space is very comfortable. However, there is no TV and disposable spare parts. You shouldn't be closed in the room to watch TV when you come to Taitung, right? For the price and location, this is a great choice for hotel. We arrived early and we’re offered luggage storage which was great! The provided breakfast is pretty average however their milk tea is so yummy!! Probably the best milk tea I’ve head the whole time I’ve been in Taiwan! The cleanliness wasn’t too great. The beds and sheets were all clean but some of the surfaces (bedside table, desk and table) could have done with at least a wipe down. The bathroom was a bit grubby but definitely not unusable (just get like I needed to put shoes on each time I needed to go into the bathroom). All in all, this hotel did the job for two nights stay.
