Hostels in Otago, New Zealand

Excellent location and PIN code lock safety mechanism on major entries are helpful. Right next to Intercity coach pickup station which I rely for the whole journey in NZ. There are elevator thus no worry on carrying my heavy huge luggage and hand carried. I stayed in 6 dormitories ensuite. Rooms are bigger and there are a huge storage for each resident. Extra lockers and storage can be found outside the bunk should you need more space. Towel is provided as well. Very quiet at night thus can sleep well. Kitchen is huge and I still find space to put my groceries inside the fridge and cubicle outside. Will be back to stay for a couple of nights when I am back to Queenstown.

非常喜歡這個住宿，完全就是為了給來但尼丁出差工作的人提供了便利的房間，房間裏面有我需要的用品，熱水壺，微波爐，冰箱，座椅和電視，還有洗手池，太方便了，下次出差還繼續住這裏，房間温馨舒服~

Lovely hostel, ~10 min walk to the centre of the town and it’s a lot of fun because of the stunning view of the lake. I stayed in a 2-bunk bed room for 4 nights with a man… As a girl, I didn’t feel comfortable at all. The guys were fine but I think the hostel should consider same gender policy for this kind of room. Also found it very strange that staff doesn’t give towels when people check-in. They only give when you ask. I went all the way to my room to realise the towel isn’t on my bed and another tenant didn’t even know they provided towels.

Good room, love how there is the privacy in all of the beds with close curtain, love the closeliness and cozy of the guest lounge. Wish there is a charger place right inside the beds.

Great location to base yourself for a few days of seeing Queenstown. (It really is that close.) Nice and friendly staff at check in and throughout. Most helpful. Ents included TV, books, games, couple of guitars, ocassional theme evenings. Couple of outdoor spaces. Bathrooms are fine although if fairly or more than fairly tall, the shower heads are surprisingly low down. I understand the difficulties with this given the time of year but a floor by floor deep clean is probably needed. Whilst I am no member of the fun police, having numerous notes across the place emphasising the need to keep noise down after 10pm, I can see why this might be a bit galling when the staff who live there alongside guests do not abide by this - especially when you have no idea who is a worker who is off duty. Might be impossible given temperatures, but it wasn't ideal to climb into my bunk in the pitch black (other than the light from my phone) and find a cat sleeping there (honestly!) I like a cat but if I hadn't had my phone lit, I would never have known and would have landed forcefully on it. I actually found it quite funny but a lot wouldn't. All hell could have broken loose if I had landed on it. (Amusingly and no joke, I was watching Don't F*** with Cats at the time and had paused it while I climbed in. Perhaps it was written...) Anyway, really nice spot and right for the price. Cheers!

Polite staff and central location in Queenstown ( 5 minutes walk to city center). Amenities include free WiFi, laundry, a garden, hot tub, and bike access. Rooms were cozy but basic. The communal kitchen space was organized and easy to use. The sauna is the reason I will book again when in Queenstown. 🥰

Goede hostel. Bekwame prijs en goed uitgeruste voorzieningen. Ik zou hier blijven als ik Oamaru weer zou komen. Er is geen front desk. Dus de gasten moeten altijd weten dat PIN dat je binnen laat (ook hun kamer). Dus ik moest mijn mobiel brengen zelfs toen ik naar het toilet ging. Als ik m'n kamer PIN had vergeten, kon ik de deur van mijn kamer niet openen.

Pod set up was good having own space, and lockers were a good size, but it was quite difficult to get into the top bunks. Wouldn't be easy if you had any accessibility issues, so request bottom one if this is the case. Kitchen was unable to use at time of visit which was a problem for us. Laundry easy to use and not expensive.

Good location in the middle of the city, bed was comfy enough, but lacks curtains, overall clean and good to meet people.

路邊停車，9點前免費，夜間停車很友好 一個大斜坡，箱子拖上去還是有些辛苦 樓上樓下都有衞生間，這點很不錯 浴室在一樓，不分男女 洗衣房9點-16點，這點不太友好，我們晚入住，我就洗不了衣服，收費的哈 整個設施都比較完善 對了，拖鞋，沐浴露洗髮水都需要自備 新西蘭全部都沒有牙刷牙膏和拖鞋，也記得自備 傳單被套，走的時候需要自己拆下來，丟到一樓的洗衣房 整個環境設施都很友好，值得推薦
