The bathroom and room is tidy, but in-terms of cleanliness should have more room of improvements, as we still found some dust on the bed and in the bathroom as well. But since it's a backpacker style hostel, couldn't be much picky bout the hostel itself.
Kitchen amenities is great, and I love the common area there.
Definitely a go to if you have budget concerns!

I stayed 4 nights at Centabay and overall it was ok- it is in a central location in Paihia close to the wharf. the structure needs more renovations but they do their best to keep it clean with the volunteers cleaning every day.

Met een verblijf bij Relax a Lodge in Kerikeri bevind je je op 10 min. rijden van Bay of Islands en Marsden Estate. Dit landhuis ligt op 2,3 km van Makana Confections en op 2,3 km van The Old Packhouse Market.
Loop vooral de recreatieve voorzieningen zoals een buitenzwembad en fietsenverhuur niet mis. Andere kenmerken van dit landhuis zijn gratis wifi, hulp bij uitstapjes/tickets en barbecues.
Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een bagageopslagruimte, een wasserij en een bibliotheek. Er is een shuttleservice van/naar de luchthaven (op beperkte tijden beschikbaar) die gratis wordt aangeboden.
Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 5 kamers. Dankzij gratis wifi blijf je online, terwijl de tv met kabelzenders zorgt voor het kijkplezier. Badkamers hebben een bad of douche en haardrogers.

The staff are friendly and friendly, the environment is quiet and comfortable, and the Intercity bus station is only a two-minute walk away, which is very convenient. Close to the tourist pier and information center

AAnonymous UserA good place to break one's journey from Paihia via opinoni and waipoura forests back to Auckland. Dargaville is a small town with several Asian restaurants (recommend Suphan Thai in town) and a Woolworth's. This motel is located in the suburbs - a quiet and peaceful area away from traffic. Was surprised that the unit came with a kitchen (stove, fridge microwave oven) even though the room description only mentioned a LCD TV. WiFi was functional but slower than other places. Bedding was good. We couldn't find a hairdryer in the room.

Clean and well-maintained. Friendly staff. Great environment. Well-maintained garden. Location. Quiet and relaxing. We had a great time for three nights and four days.

AA.V.Lal20We stayed here for one night as a couple traveling down to Whangarei for an eye appointment. The location is absolutely excellent, and the eye clinic was conveniently just a short walk away from the motel. The on-site amenities were quite good, but unfortunately, the customer service was poor and the overall cleanliness of the place was only average. While the location is incredibly convenient for medical visits, the service and upkeep definitely need improvement.

XXian 81We loved our stay here!!! They upgraded our room free of charge and nothing was too much to ask for. We ended up adding nights to our original booking, it was easy and no problem at all. Very clean and comfortable with everything one could possibly need. Super friendly family running this place. We will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserGreat location, free car park, walk up to 1st,3rd level rooms. Good sized room, looks modern and new, soft mattress, kitchenette with electric stove, microwave, fridge, oven, dining table with 2 chairs. Walking distance 5 min to beach. Free milk for breakfast. Fan could have been less dusty. No air con. Balcony with patio chairs.

Amazing
This motel looks recently furnished. It is run by an elderly couple who is lovely and helpful. The motel is very clean, and it’s great value for the money we paid. The only improvements I could think of if more pillows and firmer mattress. Overall, I highly recommend it for a short term stay in Kerikeri.
