Wanneer je verblijft bij Skoghus in Senja bevind je je bij de zee en op 14 min. rijden van Sandviklia Alpinsenter. Dit hostel ligt op 18,5 km van Sørreisa Kirke en op 20,9 km van Djupvag Marina. Maak gebruik van handige voorzieningen zoals gratis wifi, een gemeenschappelijke woonkamer en houtskoolbarbecues. Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een magnetron in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte en een koelkast in de gemeenschappelijk ruimte. Ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen. Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 20 kamers met een koelkast. Maak je maaltijden klaar in de gemeenschappelijke keuken. Er is gratis wifi op de kamer als je op het internet wilt surfen. Badkamers hebben een douche en haardrogers.
"Excellent ! J’ai reservé sans prêter attention et j’ai été surpris. L’auto check-in est très simple, il y a un grand parking gratuit. Les chambres sont propres et les lits confortables. La pièce commune pour se poser le soir est incroyable, digne d’un vrai chalet de montagne. Il y a un piano, un platine vinyles, des jeux de cartes, des livres, un poil à bois et des baies vitrées avec vu sur le fjord. Une vrai ambiance chaleureuse. De plus il y a une machine à laver et un sèche linge à libre disposition. Les cuisines sont très bien équipées et il y a en plus un placard réservées uniquement pour la « Free food ». Il y a également des boites de rangement annotées pour la nourriture de chaque chambre. Le personnel est très accueillant. Je recommande cet hébergement, j’y reviendrais dans le futur."

Dit hostel ligt op 0,3 km van Alfheim-stadion en op 1,2 km van Tromsø Centrum voor Hedendaagse Kunst. De accommodatie heeft een terras en een tuin waar je van het uitzicht kunt genieten, maar profiteer ook van gratis wifi. Er is gratis wifi op de kamer als je op het internet wilt surfen.
"This was the cheapest place within the walking distance to the city center. But take note that walking means walking up slopes in snow and ice conditions. The main entrance to the hostel was so icy because no one shoveled the snow. The hostel is actually cozy and neat but the entrance is literally the most dangerous place in the whole city I kid you not. Photo attached for reference. It's self check in and I didnt see anyone locking any rooms or the main entrance when I was there. However, trust basis is quite high and I did enjoy my stay there."

We arrived in the evening, reception was not open but instructions to where our room and key are were sent in advance. Due to the weather (arrived during heavy snow) we struggled a bit to find our room, which was unpleasant, but once we found it our stay was very nice. The room had everything we needed, bathroom simple and clean, kitchen organized and simple with a stove, dishwasher, fridge and everything, and a very nice shared area. The location is very close to Finnsnes, but buses don't run very often, and not in the evening; so plan in advance if you count on using public transportation. On the up side, when the bus does run, there is a stop right outside. All in all, great value for money. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

The main entrance to the hostel was so icy because no one shoveled the snow. The hostel is actually cozy and neat but the entrance is literally the most dangerous place in the whole city I kid you not. Photo attached for reference. It's self check in and I didnt see anyone locking any rooms or the main entrance when I was there. However, trust basis is quite high and I did enjoy my stay there.
