Backpackers Hostel K’s House Mt.Fuji
Everything here has been an amazing experience.
I’ve had the chance to meet many international friends,
exchanging and experiencing different cultures in our exploration of Japan.
The staff feel like brothers and sisters —
they help with everything, big or small.
It feels like we’re all living together as one big family.
Before 5 a.m., everyone wakes up to head out for the sunrise.
We go out to capture the sunrise over Mt. Fuji.
When we return, we share the highlights of our day.
This place is filled with the warmth of a real home.
Looking forward to coming back next time.
I’m the friend from Taiwan who shared some little things with you.
I hope you enjoy the small keychains that represent life in Taiwan.
Taiwan welcomes you!
Extremely friendly owner and staff. My car battery died because I left the lights on without knowing it. The owner and staff helped me to start the car. Also Guyaume made great suggestions that was valuable to my trip. Everything is nice, well maintained just as commented by everyone else. Hands down best place ever visited. Top tier hostel worldwide.
Oh and if you want to go to that signature Lawson for photo, stay here. It’s close enough to walk drive bike before sunrise so you get pink Fuji.
The owner was very nice and helpful. She cooked simple breakfast for us. The hostel has four rooms and shared toilets, shower rooms and dinner area. The owner provides few bikes for guests to rent. We had a lovely stay.
The house is about 50 years old.
Facilities: Perfect, taken care of by the owner 🉐️ in an orderly manner, it is rare.
Hygiene: Hygiene is also good, standard Japanese style.
Environment: About 2 kilometers away from the station, the boss took the initiative to send me to the station.
Service: The boss is a cute and enthusiastic little old man, who looks like Miyazaki.
Glad that I was able to stay here. The location was perfect for us. The distance to Chureito Pagoda and the train station and was very manageable for me and my 14-year-old daughter. The facility was clean and staffs were friendly and helpful. It was also a quiet location. I think when given the chance, I would like to come back and stay here again.

Very Good
GGuest UserAn excellent experience! The environment is elegant and comfortable, and the guests are all high-quality. There's an open kitchen with great hygiene. Coffee is available daily from 8 AM to 10 AM, and other teas are self-service 24 hours a day. Guests can prepare their own meals here, and everyone is very considerate about washing and returning used utensils. The water pressure is strong, and there's plenty of hot water. The toilets are fully automated. You must change into slippers upon entering. The common areas are quiet, and people rarely speak loudly. The front desk lady, who is *********, speaks Mandarin and is very professional, friendly, and attentive. There are large and small supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. Bicycles are also available for rent.
GGuest UserThis hotel is more geared towards self-service; you have to input your information on a tablet during check-in. The bathroom and beds were clean, and the air conditioning temperature was just right. Everyone was polite, so it wasn't particularly noisy. The Fujikyu train station and bus stop are just a short walk away.
GGuest UserThe owner was excellent! While the hotel's location was a bit remote, the overall experience was fantastic. We contacted the owner, and they even arranged pick-up and drop-off for us. A truly wonderful stay, highly recommended!
GGuest UserMany people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.
GGuest UserFirst off, the front desk staff was absolutely wonderful. I don't speak the language, but they were so patient and friendly in helping me, making this trip a truly valuable memory. It was also very quiet at night, and the whole hostel had a fantastic vibe.
**Facilities:** Very complete, with a microwave, hot water, and tea available.
NNVS CGTEverything was good about this hotel. They serve fresh homemade bread every day — and it's free! The amenities were great, including a stove so we could cook. The only thing I think could be improved is the host’s friendliness. I only got to speak with him during check-in. Every day when we bumped into him, he seemed to avoid speaking with me. It would have been a perfect score if the host had been more friendly and made us feel welcome at the guesthouse.
GGuest UserThe hotel is tastefully decorated - very comfortable, from the window of the room a stunning view on Fuji.
Next to the bus stop there are places where you can eat even after 9:00, which is surprising for such a area!
From the downsides - the road to the hotel is laid out of grave, the day before we on the same stone road broke the suitcase, to look for a new in such a area very expensive and uncomfortable, so here it was necessary to carry it in hands, it is very tired, In the house itself there are also many porosh and steps, so travelers with big and heavy bags will be extremely uncomfortable in this hotel, the second time would not stop, only if to go on the light.
ゆゆたぼうI used it with my friends. I am very satisfied! !! !!
There were various places around sightseeing
There is a place like a cave under the Buddha statue.
