This is a hostel but also has private rooms; I had a nice-priced private room, and it had all I wanted: bed, private shower and toilet, and all very clean/hygienic. I don’t want TVs, coffee facilities, etc - it’s just a place to sleep and shower in the morning before I leave, and that shouldn’t cost £80-90 pn, this was more like half that, and fair - this met all my needs. Cheery staff who are happy to take your luggage before check in time. Less than 10 mins, easy walk from Lime St station, and less than that to the main shopping area, also with Mathew St, etc close by. It’s close to everything. I’d be happy to go back👍

Great sized kitchen and common area with free tea and coffee. I booked a ten bed room with curtains on the beds but was put in a more basic eight bed without curtains. I was told they do not guarantee room type until you arrive. The beds were wobbly and creaky and the pillow was very thin. A little cold in the common areas.

Place was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short. As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good. Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well. Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.

The room is quite big, the hotel decoration is very british, the facilities are very old, the sprinkler is slow, and the sprinkler chain in my room is rotten. This hotel is in the village, quite far from the city center, and it takes about 25 minutes to take a taxi to the center of Liverpool. The room facilities are old, the front desk is strong, the kitchen and restaurant waiter, breakfast must go down half an hour in advance or it will take a long time to eat. Overall, it is barely possible.

Lively and loud evening due to music, but room is well shielded to noise and earplugs are provided. Easy check in and clean room with all necessary amenities provided.

The six-bed female room is very large, with a bathroom and shower room, which is very convenient. However, there is little traffic on the roadside, which is acceptable. The locker in the room is quite large, remember to bring your own lock.

Generally a really good hostel with direct access to Anfield, so best fit for anyone coming for the matches. So many good food options just a couple minutes on foot. The place itself feels quite dated, however, so hope the owners can repaint some ceilings, walls and ensure proper pumbling. I enjoyed my stay and the kindness of the staff. Thank you.
