De locatie is fantastisch. Hoewel het hotel geen eigen parkeergelegenheid heeft, is er gratis parkeergelegenheid rondom het gebouw, dus het was gemakkelijk om een ​​handige plek te vinden. Het belangrijkste stadscentrum ligt op ongeveer 20 minuten lopen, maar er zijn veel lokale restaurants in de buurt. We boekten ons verblijf via de TRIP-website en vermeldden dat we parkeergelegenheid en een hondvriendelijk hotel nodig hadden. Geen van beide was waar, geen hotelparking en geen honden toegestaan, hoewel het hotel geweldig was en ons nog steeds bij onze hond liet verblijven. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kamer was ruim genoeg en de badkamer was ensuite. Geen klachten. We hadden een ontzettend aangenaam verblijf.

We went to Blois for the Château de Chambord. Compared with other hotels, this youth hostel offer very affordable price. Normally there is a bus stop right next to the hostel to train station of Blois, however, there was road repairing work from late July onwards, so we have to walk 1 station away for the bus to city center. The hostel is situated in a quiet area and is clean, the room was clean as well but there was smell from the toilet. Toilet and shower is without partition, so once you finished the shower, the whole bathroom floor is wet. Staff there are helpful and very friendly.

The hostel was clean and all the staff smiled and guided me to stay warm. On Saturday morning, the market is open right in front of you, so you can feel the local French atmosphere. You can have time to walk by the river, and the location is good, close to the city.
