Hostels in Xinjiang, China

Welcoming, fun and central place to stay near Liuxing Street! The owner speaks English well and is super friendly and interesting. His love for travel and his culture is displayed around the hostel with the beautiful and quirky decor, and it is easy to see that lots of love and thought went into this place. His family were around and they are lovely too. They gave me a free coconut coffee which was delicious! The female shared room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed with a curtain. There was a  cupboard for each bed. There is a little shared kitchen which had a fridge/freezer, a hot water dispenser and things for cooking and eating (although I didn’t cook there). The shared female toilets had a few toilets and a few shower stalls - a down side for me was the toilets are all squat toilets and there was no toilet paper when I was there so I had to bring my own (maybe I did not see it, I did not ask). There were shared living spaces where you could sit at the tables and chairs, an outdoor courtyard area with a nice little garden, a lovely quiet reading room area with the owner’s books, and a rooftop area with tents. It’s a really cool, international place. I would love to come back again.

Staff were helpful. The location was near the train station which is great for walking. The hostel has a large lobby and communal area for hanging out and chilling. Lots of amenities. Water is free to refill. Beds and toilets were clean and well-equipped with hair dryers. Really pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for solo travellers.

Bij het zoeken naar hotels in de buurt van Liuxing Street is Mobo de eerste. Als ik denk aan de eerste keer dat ik in Mobo verbleef in 2021, vind ik de decoratiestijl van Mobo erg leuk. Ik heb verbleven in Urumqi Branch, Tekes Branch, Yining Branch en Burqin Branch Ja, ik heb deze keer niet geaarzeld om weer een ligplaats in Yining te boeken. Ik kwam hier deze keer en ontdekte dat de inrichting van de winkel completer is dan vorig jaar. Het inchecken en inchecken gaat erg snel. Parkeren is de juiste keuze als je alleen reist groep om te carpoolen en voor de lol uit te gaan, wat erg handig is en geld bespaart. De kamer is schoon en netjes, en de matras die ik het prettigst vind is van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Na een dagje spelen viel ik snel in slaap toen ik weer ging liggen💤 Sommige plekken zijn dit jaar gerenoveerd om het geheel compleet te maken. winkel ziet er nieuw uit Zo is ook te zien dat de baas hard werkt aan de verblijfservaring van de gast en dat de hygiëne met vijf sterren beoordeeld moet worden. voor deze prijs is het de moeite waard. Als ik 's ochtends wakker word, ga ik in de tuin zitten en bestel een kop koffie☕️ Er speelt ook een zwarte kat in het gras. Kijkend naar het weelderige groen in de tuin, wordt de vermoeidheid van het reizen meteen meer dan verminderd half.

The room was very clean and the boss was very good. There was a delay. It was very late at two or three in the morning. The boss was still waiting and helped make the bed. You can live in Ta County.

Lovely stay at Gobi Desert. The location is very central in the old district and near lots of places to eat and walk around. The staff at the hostel are super helpful - whatever I needed and they tried too help out. Can't thank them enough. The room was large, quiet and had everything I needed. thanks again!

We verbleven een week in Tiancheng International Youth Hostel en hadden een geweldige ervaring! De man en het meisje bij de receptie zijn erg aardig. De infrastructuur in de jeugdherberg is relatief compleet, inclusief een bioscoop! De hygiëne in de winkel is ook erg standaard, het is erg schoon en de tante maakt het elke dag schoon. De locatie is ook geweldig. Als u naar buiten gaat, slaat u linksaf en ziet u het eeuwenoude theehuis en de Travel Photography Alley. Ik drink elke dag thee en klets met mijn jeugdherbergvrienden in de lobby. De sfeer is geweldig! Dit is ook de enige jeugdherberg onderweg die evenementen organiseert, zodra er staat dat er evenementen plaatsvinden. Het is heel comfortabel om op het dak te barbecueën! Als je naar de oude stad Kashgar komt, moet je in Tiancheng verblijven!

Since my last visit, construction has progressed. Now, rooms are accessible by card. Lockers with numpads have been installed. Sadly, the code is given by reception and cannot be changed. The lockers are on the smaller side and cannot handle a normal size backpack. When the sun was out, the room was really cold. No insulation, one of the cardboard walls had a big hole to let some pipes in and there was no heating. It wasn't a problem at night at this time of year with the available blanket. Still a great deal in Urumqi 👍

Ella is a conscientious and gracious host who has cultivated a warm and fun environment. I had a great experience sleeping in the comfortable dorm which was a very fair price by China standards as well. Facilities are new and clean. I slept well on a comfy bed in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still very close to the ancient city. Also you can take a taxi directly to her Homestay whereas in the ancient city you have to carry your bags at least a few hundred meters from taxi drop off. Ella was patient and answered all of my touristic questions while caring for the other guests too. Also she often prepares a potluck meal for a fair price. I met many interesting travellers here too so if you are looking for a good base to rest that meets your social and touristic needs as well Ella’s home is the place for you. Probably my favorite hostel in my month in China. Shame I have to leave. The private rooms look quite cozy as well

Nice quiet hostel where it is easy to relax. The bed is comfy, no gas to cook but there is hot water a microwave and a few other appliances you can use. It's a bit away from the ancient city but there are plenty of other shopping streets nearby. I left my bike outside the door because it's a very safe area. There were some very friendly people in the hostel who helped me navigate the Chinese way of doing things. It's really good value staying here, would recommend. Message them if you have difficult finding the place.

Service: It was about noon when we arrived and the temperature in Kuqa was about 30 degrees. As soon as we went through the formalities at the store, the front desk asked if we wanted to eat melon. The employees were very enthusiastic and organized games to relax, which made me feel relaxed. Environment: The environment is also very unexpected. It is clean and tidy and matches the blue sky of Kuqa. The air conditioner in the room was fully on, it was very cool, and the mattress was very comfortable. I also met travelers with the same ambitions in the store. It is true as the lady said, this is not only a place to stay but also a place to meet beautiful people and things. Just one word, absolutely!
