This place was perfect for a quick one night stay after my long flight from the US to Taipei. The location is very convienent because it’s right down the street from Taipei main station, in fact I just walked there. The room and the facilities were neat, clean and the decor is so cute and welcoming. The staff was also very accommodating for my last check in, which I really appreciated! This was a perfect place for me to relax and decompress before continuing my travels the next day. Just for reference, I booked a private room which to My delight came with a big window and some Mountain views after sunrise. The bedding was comfortable and so was the bed itself! I would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. It was very spacious and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was very clean and everything was well prepared. We were also able to check in early as we arrived slightly earlier than planned. Our stay indeed felt like we were in a spa house. No complaints at all. There is a jap restaurant just beside the hotel and it served amazing food and drinks. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Ik boekte een kamer in het Meihao Hostel, aanbevolen door een collega. Oorspronkelijk wilde ik een backpackerskamer, maar omdat eenpersoonskamers niet veel goedkoper waren, boekte ik er toch een. Het hostel, dat alleen voor vrouwen is, leek veilig en ligt aan Hankou Road, vlakbij Ximending. Het was de eerste keer dat ik een badkamer met toilet in één ruimte zag. Het voordeel is dat je het toilet kunt gebruiken tijdens het douchen, maar het nadeel is dat als er in elke kamer iemand aan het douchen is, je moet wachten. Er waren bouwwerkzaamheden aan de overkant van mijn kamer, dus ik hoorde de hele dag bouwgeluiden. De kamer had centrale airconditioning die niet handmatig kon worden geregeld en de ventilator stond vrij hard, waardoor het erg koud was om aan het bureau bij de ventilatieopening te zitten.

Het ligt dicht bij Taipei Station en is vrij gemakkelijk te vinden. Het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar de Ningxia Night Market en ongeveer 30 minuten naar de winkel die visnetten verkoopt. Het is niet onmogelijk om te lopen. Het gebied is omgeven door steegjes, maar de meeste winkels zijn overdekt, dus je kunt een beetje regen overleven. De kamer heeft een bed, een grote plank en een kluis. De ruimte met de lift is gescheiden door automatische deuren, dus je hoort de deur niet veel open en dicht gaan. Het personeel bij de receptie was vriendelijk en sommigen spraken Japans. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en ik zou hier graag nog eens verblijven.

Had a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel's location near Taipei Main Station is super convenient, and it's really close to Eslite Bookstore and Zhongshan MRT Station. There are so many amenities right downstairs too, like a convenience store, KFC, breakfast shops, and bubble tea places – just perfect. Inside, the hotel was clean and bright. Highly recommend!

Het was geweldig. Ze bieden ook bagageopslag. Een paar kleine minpuntjes: Het was wat lastig om bij het bed op de t****e verdieping te komen. De trap is smal en onhandig voor senioren. Mijn slippers waren gescheurd. De douche was lastig te gebruiken omdat de haak van de douchekop niet kapot was. Het ontbijt was bijna op. Het zou fijn zijn als warm water makkelijker te drinken was. Over het algemeen was het goed. Geen problemen.

Good location. 5 mins walk to the main bus and train stations, but a little far from the central area on foot, about 15-20 mins walk. Close to quite a lot of restaurants and cafés. The room was okay, quite clean overall, but my room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator, so I had to take the stairs every day. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The wifi could be improved.

Overall facilities were great! Super clean, super well put together and well stocked. Good value for money. Loved the common areas/reception - so spacious and well thought out with great cooking supplies. Only note would be the music in this area was quite loud so harder to have a conversation over. Breakfast is just toast with spread but appreciated none the less.

Our double room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom sometimes smelt bad, not because it was dirty but but because of the bad sewerage problem that most of us have come to understand plagues a lot of Asia. One of the highlights for me was a kitchen that was actually clean, had plates and cutlery as well as a useable stove. As someone who loves to cook in, this was a huge bonus. It's super conveniently located, only a short walk (2 minutes) to the Chiayi train station; the bus stop is right in front from where you can take a bus directly to Alishan. If you are doing a day trip, as we did, it makes it super convenient and easy. Perhaps a bit more attention to detail in as far as a taking dust off the TV and the furniture would be good. My only real complaint would be the rubber non-washable mat outside of the bathroom, which smelt of feet. For hygiene reasons a bath mat which could be washed after each guest would be far more hygienic. We placed the original rubber mat on the balcony outside and used a towel on the floor. Otherwise a pleasant stay. :)
