Hostels in Shandong, China

"Safe for female travellers. Amenities including washing machine, basic toiletries are provided. Within walking distance to main train station and nearby attractions. Local foods are just nearby. The only thing was the squeaky bunk bed. Anyone who moves can cause noise from the wooden bed frame (can affect sleeping quality). Suggest to change a better quality bedframe to avoid the creaky sound."

"At 26 yuan a night, what more can you ask for? The sheets and duvet covers are changed daily, there are shared bathrooms (single cubicles), free laundry, free private lockers, a few fitness equipment, the front desk staff are friendly, and the surrounding area is convenient for getting around and eating (Daming Lake Station, subway station, and bus station are all very close, and there are many small restaurants). I really can't find any fault with it except for the lack of privacy."

"The Hostel was easy to find, the staff was very friendly and could speak English. The rooms were clean and cozy. It was absolutely worth the price."

"I have stayed here for three nights. The hostel seems to be quite new, so don't let the low amount of reviews dissuade you. The location in my opinion is great, there are a bunch of restaurants in the area, public transportation, a bit far away from the beach area, but very close to other points of interest in the city. The shower was great, I have stayed in quite a lot of hotels and hostels in China, and not many had such a great shower like here. If you are a western like me, who likes using a ”normal toilet” they have both kinds. The hostel also has a bar, and I am not sure if it is every weekend, but there was a guy performing, who I must say, sang very well, I might even say better than the original singers. I kind of ha a problem find the hostel so I had to call them and have them pick me up. So if you are blind like, the hostel is located behind the building on the corner, you have to pass through a parking lot, there are also signs in the parking lot, which I noticed much later. Once you see something that looks like a half cafe half clothing store, then you have arrived at the location."

"Best hostel I've ever been to! This hostel opened recently so thanks to this there currently aren't a lot of guests staying, which is great for a quiet stay. Everything is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are large and convenient, and most importantly the manager is really nice! He will accommodate your stay to make it as pleasant as possible. The area around the hostel also seems newly built (the building where the hostel is also doesn't have many businesses at the moment) and everything is available within walking distance. If I have to stay in Weihai again, I will for sure come back to this place!"

"Ik verbleef in dit hotel tijdens mijn reis naar Qingdao. Ik had gehoord dat het pas geopend was en dat het er wel schoon zou zijn! De badkamer en douche waren gescheiden en de doucheruimte was erg schoon met een aparte droge en natte zone, wat ik prettig vond. Er was ook een wastafel en een föhn. De kamer was niet te klein, maar het enige nadeel was het kleine raam, waardoor je geen uitzicht naar buiten had. Het bed in de kamer was erg comfortabel en het beddengoed werd regelmatig verschoond. Er waren ook privékluisjes, waarvoor een pasje nodig was. Slippers werden gratis verstrekt en de kamer en gang waren voorzien van vloerbedekking, zodat je voeten het in de winter niet koud zouden krijgen. De temperatuur binnen was precies goed, niet te warm en niet te droog. De badkamers verdienen een pluim; ze hadden allemaal verwarmde toiletten en wegwerpbare toiletbrilhoezen, dus mijn billen werden niet koud tijdens het toiletbezoek. Er waren ook diverse mogelijkheden voor vermaak in de lobby, zoals bordspellen, biljart en 's avonds bier..."

"The location is perfect. 200 meters away from Daming Lake. Service is super cool, clean. I would like to suggest improving the air conditioning quality, provide toothbrush-toothpaste-minitowel."

"Overall, it was great! The lady who checked me in was lovely and very attentive. In the evenings, they even organized games for guests, which was a nice touch. The facilities are really comprehensive; everything from water dispensers to coffee machines looked brand new. Due to a change in my plans, I had to check out early, and they were incredibly helpful with that. The only downside was that, being in an 8-person dorm, it could get a bit noisy, especially with some roommates coming back late. I also think they could add and emphasize more rules, like tidying up after eating takeout, keeping the washroom counter clean, and not playing videos out loud in the room at night, just to help everyone maintain a pleasant shared space."

"The place to stay in Qindao The owner greeted me so well on my first days in China. He got me dinner the first night, drove me around the day after to get a Sim Card and even gave me a phone charger. Great man, never asked for anything In exchange just from the philosophy “you are my guest “ However, the rooms were spacious and clean, same as bathrooms and common areas. The ambient is cool with some Chinese travelers and also all over from Asia willing to make plans and get to know you. Location was convenient with public transport and local restaurants near by. Felt like home."

"房間非常的大，我住的是六人間，但是我感覺八人間會更好一點，就是嗯視野更開闊，環境很好，空間很大，不管是客廳還是衞生間，而且老闆人也很好，可以免費寄存行李，感覺特別划算，下次來的話，肯定還會再訂這個的地理位置也特別好，而且還特別便宜嗯，地方也挺好找的，離火車站也很近，外賣可以送上樓，叔叔每天嗯，12點之後就會來打掃衞生"
