We were supposed to have a twin room, but they upgraded us to a family room. When you open the heavy door, there's a courtyard with rooms built around it. The courtyard had tables, chairs, and even a chaihana (tea house) seating area. There was an outlet next to the bed. The hairdryer was in the closet. The air conditioning and drainage worked perfectly. Oddly, the shower's hot water came out when you turned the blue knob, and the cold water from the red one. I had read reviews saying that when people asked for a replacement toilet paper roll, they were given a used one. However, when I asked, I received a brand new roll, so it seems they've made improvements. On our last day, the road in front of the hotel was closed due to construction, and the owner kindly helped us call a car and guided us. The handmade restaurant map was also very helpful, and we really appreciated all their assistance. Location of the address is inaccurate. Taxis tend to stop at opposite the road. Signage is very small. Need to pay attention to see the blue signage. I like to quietness and quaintness of this hotel, but bathroom facilities wise, it not fulfilling the basic needs of a traveller because of the shower facility. Otherwise, Environment is good, i like especially the outdoor seating space at ground floor. The hot water in the bathroom is very inconsistent. Water flow is very low from the shower head. Sometimes water get very hot and almost burnt my skin many times. Bathroom is very cramp very difficult to get even a proper shower. The staff did their best they can to clean up the place, fix the shower head and offer good service. But the facilities of the shower room needs proper maintenance and servicing, inconsistent hot water supply is frustrating.

This guest house is a wonderful budget-friendly option in Samarkand. It’s conveniently located near the city center, only about 2 km from Registan Square and other major attractions, making it very easy to get around. The room rates are affordable, with options for 2 or 4 guests, which is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The host is incredibly kind, gentle, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast prepared by the family — generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of dishes each morning. The room was very clean. Since we had to take off our shoes indoors, it felt very comfortable. Both the air conditioning and the TV were modern, making our stay very pleasant. The bed was also spacious and clean enough for a good night's sleep. The bathroom ventilation wasn't great, so I left the door open, but it wasn't a major issue. The staff's hospitality was excellent. I was reassured when they explained that female staff would handle laundry for women. Regarding the location, it's a bit far from tourist attractions, so a taxi is essential. There's a bus stop right in front. There are also delicious restaurants and a convenience store-like shop nearby, so we had no trouble with meals. I would definitely like to stay here again when I come back to Uzbekistan!

Nifal is a great new hotel. I spent 3 nights there. What you see in the pictures, is what you get, even better once you see it in person. Amazingly clean, tastefully decorated, high ceiling, two bottles of water, toothbrush, sleepers, and best of all, you’re asked to take your shoes off and place it on a shoe rack by the room. How cool is that? (speaking of cleanliness) Farrux at the front desk speaks English well, very kind and helpful young man. Breakfast is plenty full and individually served at a desire time. Kitchen staff greets you with a smile every morning. Hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the popular tourist attraction. Couple of restaurants close by with their specialty kebab (chicken, lamb and beef), they also serve beer and wine.

First of all, although it's called a hotel, it's actually a guesthouse. I couldn't figure out how to open the entrance door, so I tried entering my reservation number and confirmation number into the keypad on the front of the door, but it kept giving me errors. After thinking about it for a while, I noticed another silver button. This seemed to be the intercom. When I pressed it, a ringing sound continued, and after a while, the door opened. Also, a person who seemed to be the hotel manager appeared from the road behind the door. The cleanliness of the room was not a problem. As for amenities, there were no towels, so I used the ones I brought with me, but I wish they had provided them beforehand. I'm sure they would have provided them if I had asked, but that was something that bothered me. The bathroom is a unit bath with a bathtub. There is a curtain partition between the bathtub and the sink, but honestly, it's not much of a relief. The sink gets soaking wet after showering. Since it's a guesthouse, it's not one room per person, and you may end up sharing a room with a stranger. I shared a room with a man from Sweden. Also, there seems to be a keyhole on the room door, but you won't be given a key. Anyone can easily enter. Take all your valuables with you when you go out. Also, Japanese people seem to be a novelty there. There's a courtyard with several chairs and tables. It seems cats live there, and sometimes they sleep on the chairs. Check-out is also confusing; there's no one there at 7 or 8 in the morning. People start to wake up after 10. In my case, a child who seemed to be the manager's (probably not even 10 years old) handled the check-out process. Finally, the location isn't too bad; it's a 30-40 minute walk from Registan Square and the Gur-e Amir Mausoleum.

The room had everything you could need, and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is family-run, and the owners were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They were always happy to help us with anything we needed and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We truly appreciate their hospitality and wish them all the best! The location is also excellent , Registan Square is only a 7–8 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Samarkand!

The landlord's son speaks excellent English, making communication easy. The breakfast was also plentiful. The room was very quiet with the windows closed, and the air conditioning cooled down quickly. There are many local pilaf and baked bun shops nearby, perfect for those who enjoy exploring local life. The locals are very friendly. The courtyard was very comfortable, with many plants and birds, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decorations in every corner of the room were thoughtful, showing that the owners are people who love life. This guesthouse also offers pilaf making workshops. If you're traveling in a group or want to experience making pilaf in a large pot, you can contact the owner in advance to make a reservation. The aroma is wonderful just walking by!

This family-run guesthouse is highly recommended by locals. Although it's a bit far from tourist attractions and the train station, taxis are readily available and inexpensive in Samarkand. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, although it was a bit chilly at night in October with only a thin sheet. The landlady is very friendly, speaks excellent English, and the breakfast is delicious. The only downside is that the tax wasn't charged according to Ctrip's listing. Please be aware of this, as there might be changes. Although it's not a large amount, it's advisable to keep a receipt for reconciliation.

Rajab bobo is a perfect place to stay. I’ll definitely stay here for the next time if I visit Samarqand again! It is very clean, quiet, and the smell is good. It resides in a home, only a few rooms are available, so the in-out travelers are very simple. And the position is perfect, very near Registan. A supermarket is close, and there’s a few good restaurants nearby.
