Wanneer je verblijft bij Magasinet in Fredrikstad bevind je je in de historische wijk, op 10 min. lopen van Gamlebyen geiten- en pluimveeboerderij en Prehistorische Weg. Deze bed & breakfast ligt op 1,8 km van Nye Fredrikstad-stadion en op 1,8 km van Het literatuurhuis van Fredrikstad. De accommodatie heeft een tuin waar je van het uitzicht kunt genieten, maar profiteer ook van gratis wifi en een picknickplaats. Geniet van een lunch bij Magasinet - open May-Sept, een restaurant gespecialiseerd in lokale en internationale gerechten. In de koffiebar/het café kun je terecht voor snacks. Sluit je dag af met een drankje in een bar/lounge. Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een snelle incheckservice, een snelle uitcheckservice en een bagageopslagruimte. Ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen. Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 10 kamers. Er is gratis wifi op de kamer als je op het internet wilt surfen. Badkamers met een douche zijn voorzien. The holiday house contains a large dining room, large sofa lounge with TV on the ground floor, and a separate sofa corner with TV on the first floor. Cable TV and internet. Large bathroom downstairs with separate toilet and smaller bathroom upstairs with toilet and shower. There is also an outdoor shower on the terrace. On the ground floor there is one bedroom with a double bed. On the first floor, there is one bedroom with a double bed, two with a single bed that can be pulled out to become a double and one bedroom with a pull-out bed and a single bed. There is also a sofa bed in the TV room on the first floor. The pool is about 30 degrees, about 5x3 meters in size, and about 130 cm deep. This is a saltwater pool with a low chlorine content. Saltwater pools use less chlorine, and eye problems are avoided. There are water toys/diving masks available for playing and diving in the water. On the spacious terrace there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and a pergola where you can sit under a roof for meals. A short walk (4 minutes) to a pleasant swimming area with a jetty (not available from November to April). From the wharf you can fish for crabs. Only a 5-minute drive to idyllic Engelsviken with several beautiful sandy beaches and a pleasant fish restaurant with fantastic fish soup. A short distance to Fredrikstad, and not far should you fancy a shopping trip to Sweden. The holiday house is only rented out to adults over 25, not to youth groups.
