Nice.ryokan in Miyajima.

Initially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused ”mar” and ”may” in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.

It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included.
The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata.
The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview.
Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called).
The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki.
Definitely a recommended stay!
The hostel had a great location. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but you had your privacy.
Toilets and shower were very clean.
All in all a nice hostel to stay for 1 or two nights. For a longer stay I would recommend a different one because the beds weren’t that comfortable:))

Oolgakay92Praise the location, bunk room, and lounge/cafe. Was perfect! Staff also very friendly, free luggage before/after check in/out.
Room ambiance is perfect, free lent hair-dryer (they used dyson)
Shower room was clean. There is some small minor such additional fee for towel, toothbrush, a bit cold, and no storage luggage at room. But thats acceptable.
Building only 300meter from Hiroshima station. I couldn’t say more since I am satisfy enough while stay here. Recommended for solo traveling with affordable price.
Price may vary for booked this room, I was lucky got less then $25, planning to stay here again this January, but couldn’t get same price like I was paid last time.🥲
GGuest UserThe owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.
GGuest UserWe stayed for just one night and were extremely satisfied! It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a supermarket nearby, so we felt safe no matter what we needed. Furthermore, the building and the room itself had a very stylish, fashionable, and reassuring design, making it very comfortable. Thank you!
The bed in the photo is a little messy because we put our luggage there. 💦🙇♀️
GGuest UserIncredible traditional Japanese house, newly renovated with everything you need for comfort. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked for us to prepare our own meals. The garden is beautiful and you can enjoy ocean view and sunrise from the house, there’s even a blooming Cherry Blossom tree in the garden. Just a tip to keep the sliding doors closed properly because mosquitoes do get in. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Vviva2548Budget friendly hostel in a good location. It is walking distance to Hiroshima station so it's very convenient. Only one thing my dormitory just next to the kitchen and it was noisy from the kitchen... People talk so lound and my last day early morning there are hangover backpackers in the room. A bit feels unsafe so stay alert
LlwwbThe place was quite clean, and the service was excellent. Laundry is super affordable at 200 yen, significantly cheaper than other hostels which typically charge 300-500 yen. They also have a dryer, so rainy days aren't an issue. The only drawback is that it's a wooden, detached house (not reinforced concrete), so the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests need to be mindful of their footsteps; walking heavily could lead to thumping noises audible downstairs, potentially causing complaints. Furthermore, showering is generally not permitted after midnight, as the sound of running water can disturb those on lower floors. Also, guests are required to make their own beds (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover) upon arrival, and strip them off, placing them in the designated laundry basket upon check-out. If you're unwilling to do this or find making your own bed a hassle, you might want to consider booking elsewhere.
GGuest UserVery close to Hiroshima Station! You can reach it by walking, and the traffic location is very good!
Bathroom, toilet, bed and public space are clean (shampoo, shower gel and even face wash are provided) (toothbrush should be brought by yourself)
There is a refrigerator, a kettle, indoor slippers, hair dryer to use, personal bed also has a safe to put valuables.
Overall a great stay experience 🥰
Highly recommend the traveler!
GGuest UserVery close to the streetcar, very convenient.
There is a lockable locker at the bedside, which is large enough to fit a large backpack, so you can safely put down your belongings.
The staff are friendly and will take the initiative to chat.
