This place is super clean and neat. I loved the breakfast. The view is amazing! I’ll definitely recommend this place.

Beachfront resort but I only got a skylight. Even the bathroom had a better view. The room had 2 beds but linens were removed for one since I was a solo traveler and only 1 towel was provided. No shoes policy helped keep the house clean. That is very good. I didn’t use the kitchen much except to make tea but seems like it is in good condition. Dishwashing liquid however was in a glass jar instead of pump. It’s strange cos you end up using too much for a small spoon and the jar is very slippery. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hot food along with homemade breads. It was the best breakfast I had in my 2 weeks in Iceland. Location is an hour drive from Egilsstaðir via some mountain pass, gravel roads and along the coast road. The views are breathtaking. But it’s a small town and if you don’t intend to hike around the area then it might not be worth spending so much time getting to and fro your accommodation.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. However, the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, which was a bit inconvenient.

Uitstekend gelegen aan het einde van de straat, met mooi uitzicht op de rivier en bergen/watervallen. De kamer was een beetje te rustig zelfs voor een familie van vier (met twee kleine kinderen), maar spotloos en gezellig. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte was goed opgeslagen met dranken en ideaal voor socialisatie.

There’s no lift so if your room is located on 2nd or 3rd floor you’ll have to carry your luggages up by stairs. Views are great

Der Aufenthalt im Vikingcafe war sehr angenehm. Wir kamen am Abend im bei Nieselregen an. Da haben wir uns sehr über den Wasserkocher und Tee und Kaffee gefreut. Nette Gastgeber, leckeres Frühstück im netten rustikalen Ambiente. Am nächsten Tag schien die Sonne, der Berg Vestrahorn vor dem schwarzen Dünenstrand war magisch und wunderschön. Die Zeit um alles zu Entdecken leider viel zu kurz.
