Een verblijf dat onze verwachtingen overtrof.
We hadden het geluk dat we een upgrade kregen voor onze eerste nachten. Het hotel is fantastisch, met comfortabele bedden, warm water en airconditioning. Het is schoon. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Ze bieden onbeperkt water. We konden onze was doen. Er is zelfs een tuin.
De locatie is ideaal, op 300 meter van de ingang van de Chinese Muur, de Jinshanling Middle Gate. Er zijn restaurants in de buurt; het restaurant van het hotel gaat in september weer open.
De managers zijn perfect, erg vriendelijk en super behulpzaam. Ze zijn beschikbaar en hebben de mogelijke routes naar de muur uitgelegd. Ze hebben ons zelfs geholpen onze trein vanuit Gubeikou te halen, ook al was er geen plek meer online! Een dikke dankjewel voor de kwaliteit van de service, waar we erg blij mee waren. We hebben zelfs een extra nacht verbleven, in de kamer die we oorspronkelijk hadden gekozen; ook die biedt alles wat we nodig hebben.
Ik kan dit hotel van harte aanbevelen.

去大灘無數次了，個人有點小潔癖，所以每次去，都會找當地性價比高，環境好，衞生方面很好的酒店住。這次去，查看酒店發現了這家新開的，看起來不錯，抱着嘗試的態度，訂了兩個晚上。
到了以後發現，確實比以前住過的酒店，環境好，衞生也很好！安靜又乾淨，整體設計也很用心。
接待我們的小姐姐，人很熱情體貼，讓人幫忙把行李箱拿到房間，還給了我們一份小禮物。當天下雨，天氣有點冷，跟我們説：綠豆湯，你們今天先不喝了，一直放冰箱裏，太涼。我給你們拿了兩瓶飲料，送你們的。真的很體貼！幾天下來，我們有什麼需求，小姐姐都能及時幫我們解決。點贊！
酒店是在當地村裡，房間外有陽台，一眼望過去，周邊的景色也很美！我們選的房間，朝南，早上起來，坐在陽台外，在微風下曬着陽光，秋高氣爽，真的太愜意不過了！！！喜歡😍ps：9月初草原早晚有點涼，早晚在陽台待着，需要穿件薄衣服。
而且，酒店距離周邊的景點，不遠，位置都比較適中，去哪兒都很方便。
關於吃飯：酒店就有餐廳。羊排分量真的很足，兩個人吃，會有剩餘。價格實惠量又大！我們這幾天吃飯，都在酒店餐廳裏吃。吃不完，阿姨還能幫我們保存起來，放冰箱裏，下次過來吃，還能幫忙熱一下。哈哈哈，主打一個經濟實惠又不浪費😄
體驗感不錯，下次再去大灘玩，還會再來！！

Stayed at this hotel as a group of 11, 7 in one house and 4 in another reservation. Be warned that the location is not guaranteed to be that close but definitely within walking distance. Our villa comfortably held all 11 of us and space wasn’t an issue at all. If you come with the intention to cook, you will need to purchase seasonings which was unexpected. However access with ride hailing services and takeout was fine and we could get whatever we wanted. The service was great, I contacted the hotel early and was able to ask the questions I wanted and anything I requested (toiletries, etc.) was delivered promptly.

超滿意的一次入住！酒店離沙灘步行幾分鐘就到，這片沙灘人少乾淨，木棧道和涼亭拍照巨出片，早上去海邊看日出、傍晚踩水散步都超方便。房間的視野很好，躺在床上就能看到海景，設施維護得也很新，前台服務熱情周到，有任何問題都能及時解決。周邊吃飯也很方便，性價比直接拉滿，真心推薦給來秦皇島度假的朋友！

這家酒店真的住得很舒服！打掃的很乾凈，特別是床品——被子枕頭蓬蓬軟軟的，床也很舒服，細節處很到位。房間裏裡外外都亮堂堂的，視野也好，衞生間連水漬都看不到。服務員也都笑眯眯的，見面主動打招呼，有事一叫就馬上來。整體環境安靜又清爽，住這兒就像在自己家一樣放鬆。下次來這邊還想選他家！

So lovely and quiet. Old style homes adjoining, turned into hotel rooms. We stayed for 3 nights and had a whole house to ourselves. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs, lounge TV and kitchen downstairs. Lovely girl on reception helped get us a refund when we had to leave a day early. Only complaint is the high technical shower was very difficult to work! Normal taps would be appreciated.

臨近了國慶才定的房，900一晚住5人。
酒店的位置不錯，就在大灘鎮上，去各個景點（百里天路、雲中草原、大劉八岔、羊腸河濕地）都在20分鐘以內，到閃電湖35分鐘，到草原天路沽源起點40分鐘左右。
酒店的基礎設施很好，是木屋結構，房間有暖氣，床品和枕頭也很舒適，熱水很充足，可以洗去一身疲憊。
酒店有餐廳，包容全國各地口味。特製的烤羊腿、烤雞味道都很不錯。味道太重廚師還會重新做，國慶人很多服務還很好。
酒店對面就是馬場，下午可以放夕陽放馬，酒店還養了小馬駒給房客的孩子騎着玩。客廳還可以做手工孩子很喜歡。國慶期間晚上還有篝火晚會很熱鬧。晚上酒店門口還賣煙花放的很開心。
如果有機會，還會再來這裏，總體住的體驗不錯。

這家民宿設計風格特別大氣，房間佈置的也很温馨，而且特別乾淨整潔，房間也很寬敞，衞生間物品擺放整齊，品質也很好。服務很貼心，工作人員很有耐心。

I recommend this apartment to everyone who visiting to Beidaihe. There a all things need to cook. Owner is very kind, she upgraded our 2 room apartment to 4 room apartment without any charge for our family. Close to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. They picked up and dropped off us from and to railway station with 2 comfortable car without additional charge. I will stay again if I visit to Beidaihe.

太喜歡京嶼海了！房間和圖片一模一樣，陽台望出去就是大海，早上在房間就能看日出，真的美翻了。下樓就是海邊，帶娃挖沙特別方便。房間很乾凈，設施也齊全，下次來蔚藍海岸還會選這家！”很滿意的一次住宿！位置絕佳，就在海邊；房間乾淨整潔，住着很舒心；管家服務熱情周到。來蔚藍海岸旅遊，住京嶼海是不錯的選擇，性價比很高，下次還來

TTheMachineThe compound and apartment are both very nice. Check-in was not difficult for us but only because we used WeChat and spoke Mandarin. Amenities were sufficient, though the kitchen lacked a microwave. The kitchen initially also lacked cooking supplies but our host provided them upon our request. The host is very responsive on WeChat. The compound has a playground and a few shops, and there are plenty of small restaurants just outside the compound. The location of the compound is right across the Chaobai river from Beijing, very close to one of the three bridges in the area. Crossing the bridge into Beijing by car requires passing a border check station which is slightly inconvenient as a foreigner since you will likely be required to go into the station to register every time. However, after the first crossing, subsequent crossings were very fast for us (1-2min processing time) and our rideshare drivers waited for us with no problems. Most of the time, the compound is ~20-25min by car to LuCheng subway station in Beijing, which is currently the closest subway station to the compound. However, during the morning rush hour on workdays, the border check station going into Beijing will have traffic jams up to 30+min. A rideshare (DiDi or Hello Ride) to/from LuCheng subway station costs around 20-30CNY each way. There are also public buses that go directly to/from LuCheng subway station but they only run during rush hour, and passengers still have to get off at the border check station for processing. This border check station is currently a big inconvenience, but current road and subway constructions in the area may alleviate this inconvenience in the near future.
Currently, it is difficult to find short term apartment rentals that accept foreigners in/near Beijing, so this stay was great value for money, despite us having paid ~2-3x the cost of rent for locals, it was still priced below tiny rooms in most Beijing hotels.

The owner, a kind uncle, was wonderful. He even gave me two glasses of his homemade aged liquor during dinner, which was incredibly mellow and delicious – thank you! He mentioned that after some guests last year commented on outdated facilities, they invested heavily in a full renovation, and asked me to be sure to pass that on to the review section, hahaha.
Here's my genuine stay experience:
I was initially worried about the road, but it was paved all the way, and we drove directly from the highway to the guesthouse, so the location is excellent.
The room had an amazing view. During the day, you could see the courtyard and mountains, and in the evening, the sunset glow, with village smoke rising – it was incredibly picturesque!
We hiked around the village, passing streams, farmlands, and sheep. Strolling leisurely to the wellhead, I felt completely refreshed. Both old and young would have a great time here.
Food and service were also completely on point. Portions were generous, and the food tasted great, with thoughtfulness evident in every detail.
Escaping the city's hustle and bustle and spending a couple of days here felt like being completely recharged. It was so comfortable! Absolutely great value for money.

The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. Even though it was very cold outside, it was incredibly warm inside, and we could even turn on the electric fireplace. There were humidifiers on both floors, which was a nice touch. Having two bathrooms was especially convenient. Most importantly, the service was outstanding; they even prepared a lot of medicine for us when we fell ill. However, if you plan to cook in your room, I recommend bringing some food beforehand or buying some in the county town, as there's nowhere to buy groceries in Thaiwoo Ski Town itself.

LLuquanliuruThis is absolutely a hidden gem! I was driving from Jinan to Datong, planning a two-day trip, and decided to stop in Laiyuan for a rest. I never expected to find such a beautiful courtyard; I didn't want to go back inside while strolling around. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and patient, and they had a whole yard full of flowers and plants, including a century-old peony. They even bought some local specialties for breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. In the evening, I watched the large-scale light show with iron flower fireworks and water jetpack performances at Laiyuan Lake, along with a band performance. I didn't feel tired even after playing until 10 pm. It was even more fun than a planned trip! I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse; it was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

GGuest UserWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

GGuest UserLove their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles.
The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather.
The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing.
Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!

Location is directly opposite the fulong four season town物业服务中心 canteen, open for breakfast lunch and dinner, if you are too tired to head to chongli town after a full day of skiing. Boss lent me his card so i could get discount at the canteen. The location is ideal, a few stops by internal shuttle bus to fulong ski resort, shuttle bus stop is just downstairs. And it takes bout 10 mins to walk to chongli town where there is plenty of restaurants and ski equipment rental. I rented my entire set of ski equipment from the boss' shop, he gave me a good discount as i was staying for a long period. It is the cheapest rental i saw in the whole chongli town. And his ski equipment are newly purchased from french brand rossignol and very clean.
Other than that, boss also offered two way transport to chongli railway station and helped with booking of ski tickets, ski instructor etc. He even recommended a good sports massage place to me after i had sore muscles from skiing! Basically, you just need to book accomodation thru boss and he handles the rest for a stress-free ski holiday!

GGuest UserWe were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section.
This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport).
The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

CCross1989I initially thought the price was expensive for a small town, but after staying there, I realized that it was worth it. There weren't many rooms, and it wasn't a farmhouse, but it was still very well-maintained. I even bought some paper cuttings at the cultural and creative store.
