"I’m very happy to have stayed at this hotel. I got to know He Boyuan, Li Wen, and Li Zhuolv. I am extremely grateful to these three housekeepers, even though I don’t speak Mandarim, they made their best to make us feel welcome. He Boyuan specially customized a birthday cake and flowers for us and made my birthday specia. She is an incredibly considerate housekeeper who provided excellent service. The overall experience was fantastic."

"Amazing decision to go to Yinchuan for Dragon Boat Festival since it has the best weather and the cleanest city in China. Kempinski in this city is one of the best. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are multiple destinations to tour. For my trip, I did not go to the sand dune area. I focused on the ride share to the touristy movie film park snd neighboring theme town. The hotel is also near the growing 801 Creative Park, Night Market, and just a walk from the Ningxia Museum. So many more local and traditional spots. Bring an extra shopping bag.
The hotel has a great view of their master plan development, delicious food options from the cafe to the German restaurant, and coffee/tea lobby lounge.
The staff is bilingual and the grounds are immaculately clean. Sleeping and facilities really comfortable. Nicest locals all around.

This hotel is located near many of Zhongwei's attractions including Shapotou Tourist Scenic Area Time-Space Gate, Shapotou Starlit Sky Snow Park and Shapotou Desert Legend. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"Het was een heel plotseling reisplan na het Qingming Festival. Ik had van tevoren geen plannen gemaakt en ging gewoon naar Zhongwei met mijn beste vriend, de baby en mijn moeder. Ik heb het langverwachte Desert Star Hotel ervaren. Ik vond dat het duur was. Het Reason Hotel is echt een familiehotel met unieke woestijnkenmerken aan het plafond. Het zien van de sterren aan de hemel en het knipperen 's nachts is echt helend en veegt stress en zorgen weg.
Voordat we aankwamen, was er een butler genaamd Bert die van tevoren belde om het aantal mensen waarmee we reisden door te geven, inclusief of we kinderen wilden meenemen, zelfs welke richting we verkozen, lokale weerherinneringen, eventuele speciale vereisten voor kleding, enz. De gedetailleerde communicatie was echt indrukwekkend
Na aankomst in het hotel is de service 24 uur per dag beschikbaar. Als u vragen heeft, kunt u reageren en deze zo snel mogelijk vervullen. Ik geef hem een dikke duim omhoog. De ogen van mijn beste vriend waren niet erg comfortabel vanwege zand en zwelling. De huishoudster bood ook aan om ons vanuit de stad te helpen. Nadat we het medicijn hadden gekocht, hebben we specifiek contact opgenomen met de hotelchauffeur om ons naar de ziekenboeg op de schilderachtige plek te brengen. Ik kan me de naam van de chauffeur niet herinneren. Het spijt me. Hoe dan ook, het was erg ontroerend.
De omgeving van het hotel is een paradijs voor kinderen. Zodra je de kamer uitstapt, zie je eindeloos veel zand. Er staan verschillende zandgraafgereedschappen voor de deur. Het is zeer probleemloos!
Het eten was ook erg in lijn met onze smaak. Er was een kleine stoofpot voor het diner en een Chinees en westers buffet. Er was een breed scala aan variëteiten en de zelfgemaakte yoghurt in het hotel was echt goed erg lekker. Ik zou bij elke maaltijd twee kommen yoghurt eten👍
Het hotel gaf ons ook een late check-out toen we uitcheckten. Het was een langzame reis. Er was geen haast om het schilderachtige te bezoeken We konden foto's maken en de lokale volksgebruiken en landschappen ervaren.
Zhongwei is een plaats met eenvoudige volksgewoonten en zelfs taxichauffeurs hebben een onverklaarbaar gevoel van intimiteit.
Tenslotte wil ik de service van Butler Butler nog eens prijzen. Zijn enthousiasme, geduld en oprechtheid lieten ons de ongekende warmte op een andere plek voelen.

"This desert hotel completely exceeded expectations! Staying at the staggered peak to enjoy the whole desert secret, waiting for the sunset to shine soft light on the sky in the evening, the sand dunes were dyed orange by the sunset. At night, the bonfire was burning, the fireworks were blooming, and the vast galaxy was looking up. It was really shocking to see the stars with the naked eye! The room is clean and comfortable. It is rare to have such perfect facilities in the desert. The children directly let go of themselves to play in the sand and don't want to leave. The staff is intimate and thoughtful, and the whole experience is full! Come to Zhongwei Tengri's first choice, will come again next time!"

"Absolutely perfect!
The guesthouse gave us a free upgrade because we had two doggies which was a marvelous start. I love a guesthouse who is so hospitable and puts the needs of their visitors above cost.
The location is perfectly close to Helan mountain which made for a wonderful morning ride to the mountain.
The free wine taste each night was most welcomed and delicious. The free tour of their wine cellar was also a lovely touch.
Food was the best of the three Dalezhiye that we visited this trip. Five Star Michelin feeling in the restaurant with gorgeous views is the Helan mountain and greenery. Also close to many top vineyards in the area. Absolutely quiet and perfect for those wishing to leave the hustle and bustle.
Highly recommend for a relaxing and peaceful stay in Yinchuan."

Good value for money, friendly, helpful night staff, no language problem, easy and trouble free foreign friendly. The feedback is based on my room and my overall experience. The room was very clean, newish super clear, bright lights bathroom, with very nice shower. The beds are a bit hard but nothing major, very quite, small but manageable parking space, despite my car being a big. It was one night experience, short but pleasant with lots of food option but the front doors of the hotel. Which very convenient. Definitely recommend unfortunately, I forgot to take some pictures. ThumbsUp 👍

After we arrived, we called. I didn’t expect the housekeeper to pick us up in seconds. After that, every time we needed to enter and exit, we could provide pick-up and drop-off immediately. Every time I also ask to pay attention to safety and play, like like like 👍🏻
The hotel can sandboard, you can also participate in desert activities, riding camels, go-karting, motorcycles, etc., very convenient!
Booked 2 types of rooms, 270-degree space warehouse and tent, the beds in the room are comfortable and dry 👍🏻

Guest UserAlthough the hotel is not particularly new, it has complete facilities and the surrounding environment is relatively good and quiet. The heating and air conditioning are sufficient, giving southerners a full sense of security. There are also many types of breakfast, and in order to avoid waste, they are very considerate and cut into small pieces. When breakfast is about to end, they will knock on the door of each room to ask if you have eaten breakfast. The service was very good and enthusiastic. The air conditioner was already on when I checked in. The lady at the front desk also helped to deliver the luggage to the room and explained the precautions very considerately.

HuniuerxiaoleI chose this hotel because of the free airport pickup and drop-off service, which was a decisive factor for me. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged the pickup, even sending us a small guide and restaurant recommendations, which were all very clear. The hotel environment is also excellent, the driver was very friendly, and the room was super comfortable. I do have a small suggestion though: there seemed to be too few trash cans. It would be much more convenient if the small tabletop bins were replaced with larger ones. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was also complimentary late-night congee available, so if you don't feel like going out in the evening, you can easily have a satisfying meal here. The surroundings of the hotel are also lovely; on a clear night, you can even enjoy moon gazing. Overall, I give my stay a full 5 stars.

With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends.
Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety),
🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long.
- Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village.
- Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats.
I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

YouqingvankerThis trip to Ningxia, I specifically came to experience the winery culture, and this winery guesthouse I chose felt pretty good. The butler even arranged a tasting event, allowing us to deeply explore wine culture. It's truly pleasant at the foot of Helan Mountain in the summer.
Winery Tour · Wine Tasting: There were professionals explaining the wine production process, then they taught us how to blend wine hands-on, and we also learned about wine tasting. It was a really great experience.
A bottle of Xiaohuanxi Rosé (375ml): A complimentary bottle of rosé was provided in the room, which we opened and drank that evening. It had a nice flavor.

WitidaWe came to Yinchuan to visit Helan Rock painting mountain an Xixia tomb so we didn't see downtown that much. The hotel is in the center of the district, near the drum tower, surrounded by stores and restaurants, easily to find everything you need. The staff of the hotel didn't speak English but they're polite and kind. On the day we checked out there's a misunderstanding: they said we had to pay them while we had already prepaid via TRIP.com. We showed them the receipt in Chinese but they couldn't find it in their system. After 15 mins they let us go. We confusedly contacted TRIP customer service and were informed clearly there's no problem at all with our payment. TRIP dealt with the hotel themselves. I wouldn't complain the hotel about this since such thing could happen but I suggest you to always keep the receipt in Chinese and contact TRIP customer service suddenly and let them deal with the hotel, especially if your train is about to leave the station :)

ᴋᴋFinally got to stay at my dream desert hotel, Tengol. The rammed-earth houses are quietly nestled among the sand dunes. Sitting by the window and gazing out at the endless desert instantly brought a sense of inner peace.
Both the rooms and public areas of the hotel have a great vibe. Having a drink in the lounge while the desert breeze blows by makes you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life for a while. The evening fire show and stargazing activities were particularly impressive.
It can definitely be considered a trip full of wonderful experiences~
