"Negative: - staffs English is not good, they still use cellphone translation - response time at reception for a a keycard replacement was slow - you can see that the corners in the rooms and bar are not thorough cleaned and that although it’s a fairly new hotel, it already looks a little run down here and there - in one of two rooms has been smoked before, although it’s a nonsmoking floor - waiter at breakfast argued that the water will cool down when I asked for cold water and he brought hot, instead of bringing cold water when I asked. After further arguing he finally brought a cup of cold water. - hotel cannot issue an invoice or fapiao so you have to go via Ctrip, which is an additional annoying step Positive: - got a WeChat contact who spoke English and was very helpful and asked if I want to change the room with the smoke smell - breakfast is great - elevators are arriving fast - view is great Have not tried the pool or gym."

"Very impressive with the front desk services. Front desk 王盈 is friendly n quick to done our check in. 服务管家小鱼 self introduced herself and providing great services to our 3 nights stay, make sure that we are comfortable during our stays. She is gentle and professional in her task and attentive services. We are attending the Singer Zhou Shen's concert at Hefei, the hotel is so considerate and gives the fans, hand warmer/heat pack, as the weather is getting colder. The daily breakfast also very good, aplenty of dishes to choose from locals and western cruisines. Check out time also has been extended till 4pm by thoughtfulness of 小魚, but we need to catch our train at 1pm....Thank you 小魚. A goodbye gift for us as we leaving. We are having a great time staying in the hotel. The view from our room is fantastic, lake view and part city view. This hotel will be our first choice if we visit Hefei in the future."

"Het schijnt pas in september van dit jaar heropend te zijn na een renovatie. Nadat u de Yungu-kabelbaan vanaf de berg aan de achterkant bent opgeklommen, volgt een korte, lichte trap naar het Beihai Hotel. Ernaast bevindt zich de ”Dream Pen and Flower”. Als u de zonsopgang wilt zien, kunt u naar de Shixin-piek gaan, die ook niet ver weg is. Het hotelpersoneel was erg hartelijk, beleefd en vriendelijk, vooral onze huishoudster, Xinyu. We hadden haar al vóór het inchecken toegevoegd op WeChat en boden haar attente en snelle service tot aan het uitchecken! De inrichting van het hotel kan wedijveren met die van een resorthotel en de kamers beschikken over een capsulekoffiezetapparaat, een beenmassagestoel en een bibliotheek. Tijdens mijn verblijf van drie dagen en twee nachten heb ik genoten van zowel de lunch als het diner in het hotelbuffet. De lunch- en dinerprijzen van het berghotel, respectievelijk 98 en 180 per persoon, waren behoorlijk goed, wat ik behoorlijk indrukwekkend vond! Al met al was het verblijf in het Beihai Hotel absoluut het hoogtepunt van mijn reis naar Huangshan!"

Location, location, location! The most important advantage said three times! The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves excellent food, and the price is comparable to what you'd find on Jiuhua Street. We ate lunch and dinner there on our own. The service was also great! The facilities are a bit old, though. The room's carpet and bathroom were very clean, but there was a slight odor, probably due to the humidity in the mountains. However, it's convenient for getting around, the location is fantastic! They also allowed a late checkout until 2 PM, and even gave me two sachets when I checked out! (As pictured)

Choosing Shanyu Guesthouse for our hiking trip to Mount Huangshan was the absolute right decision! The environment is exceptionally comfortable and quiet, with lush green views everywhere that instantly relieve stress. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed was so comfortable—just what we needed to properly unwind after a full day of hiking. The owner and staff are super nice and enthusiastic, and they even offered shuttle services to and from the South Gate of Mount Huangshan, which saved us so much hassle. The home-cooked dishes prepared by the auntie were fantastic, using local ingredients. When you have free time, you can just sit down, sip some tea, and experience the slow-paced life in the mountains. Unlike big, rigid hotels, we felt completely at ease here. Whenever we had a question, the hosts patiently explained hiking tips and precautions. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying experience with great value for money. Anyone looking to relax and hike in Mount Huangshan can book here with absolute confidence. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Huangshan!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

For the May Day holiday, I decided to visit some less crowded attractions and it was my first time in Hefei, the capital of Anhui. I chose a hotel on Huaihe Road for its convenient dining options. It's next to Intime, but a separate building. I checked in on time. The staff were efficient, and my child received a lollipop, plus they provided children's amenities. As for facilities, it has an old-fashioned vibe but is reasonably clean. Each room provides four bottles of water (only four, extra bottles cost money). The air conditioning was odd; I couldn't intuitively turn it off, and it was noisy. The only way to shut it down was to remove the key card. Also, the soundproofing was terrible. In the middle of the night, I could clearly hear renovation-like noises and people talking, which disturbed my sleep. They also offer afternoon tea and a late-night snack, which are available for a short period and not very elaborate; there aren't many options. Upon checkout, my child received a small snack gift bag, which was a nice gesture!

The overall stay was fantastic, especially the front desk and concierge services. The concierge proactively helped with luggage and provided excellent directions. The front desk was very efficient with check-in and check-out, and the staff were gentle and patient, answering all our questions about travel and local attractions with great professionalism. The room was clean and tidy. From arrival to departure, the entire experience was very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time, highly recommended.

Came to Jiuhua Mountain with my mom to pay respects to the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, and we stayed at this hotel for two nights. We had our New Year's Eve dinner here, and they even had someone dedicated to picking us up and dropping us off at the entrance. Every staff member greeted us warmly with ”Happy New Year.” On the first day of the ***** New Year, we prayed, enjoyed the snow, and did some scripture copying – it was a truly fulfilling experience! This hotel is trustworthy and comes highly recommended.

Environment: Built around the lake, the scenery is very good. It is recommended to have a twin room with lake view. Service: Butler service is really convenient. If there is a problem, it will be responded to in time. Even if you call the front desk, the feedback is very fast. Facilities: The coffee under the fence is very good. The room was super satisfied, clean and tidy and very comfortable. The manager and aunt in the store are very kind and friendly, and the cat is also very cute and gentle and will take the initiative to come and post. You can eat in the store. The aunt is very skilled and the food is delicious. The breakfast is not particularly varied but it is very delicious. The aunt can also help cook noodles and small wontons. The overall environment of the store is very good, the garden is very beautiful, and there is its own small vegetable garden. It is also very comfortable to walk in the hotel when you don't want to go out. In short, it is a very satisfying stay experience, and family and friends will highly recommend it.

The hotel environment is really good, but the transportation is really inconvenient. It takes 15 minutes to drive up from the bottom, and the winding mountain road of more than ten kilometers is quite thrilling. The hotel is just above Fengle Lake, with a very wide view and a panoramic view of the lake. However, the hotel should be a bit old, and the furniture is still a little old. Because it is in the mountains, there are sometimes some small insects such as spiders in the room, but don't worry too much. The service of the hotel is average, and it is quite satisfactory. There are some drinks provided on the first day of check-in, which is still good. The breakfast is actually very average, there are not many dishes, a little more than the express hotel, but there are still noodles and wontons.
