The location is perfect for Venice Beach and short walk from Santa Monica. Bike and scooter rental on the doors step as well as bars restaurants and coffee shops. The staff here are super helpful and the rooms are clean. Great shared space to chill over looking the beach. Tea and coffee facilities 24hr with use of kitchen. Bagels and porridge oats available for breakfast. Shower rooms and toilets spotless with great water pressure.

The hotel location is nice and the view was amazing ! The front office staff was friendly and upgraded our room into the closer tower. The room was clean. However, it took around 30-40 mins to deliver us the bottle water and amenities when we called to asked for them… The hotel has their own pier for water activities such as water ski

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the promenade and the old town. Comfortable bath and room. Good swimming pool. At the entrance they gave a voucher for kayaking or biking for an hour. Also vouchers for two bottles of water. The situation that happened to us, the room was with the smell of dampness, that it was impossible to breathe, after a complaint it was quickly changed to us.

- Sure the location is great, but they are letting in some weird people stay in the hostel. Over our stay we saw: 1) a bunch of people that stole our food (thank you staff for being supportive, we know its not your fault!), 2) some customers that havent showered for quite a while (i get it you are a charity, but a basic sense check would be a good idea when admitting customers...i couldnt sleep from the stench one night), 3) some other customers that we never saw in hostels around the world - tip of the hat to the guy with the ankle monitor.... - Then there are all the homeless and crazy people outside the hostel - many of them especially in the night

It was nice, people working there was very noce and helpful. I wish coffee also was served by night. Just wondering how the deposit works cause they told me at the check out that it was just by giving back the card. Microwaves will be useful too but overall is a great place

Over het algemeen vonden we het hotel geweldig! We boekten een kamer met gedeeltelijk uitzicht op de baai. Ruime kamer met een groot balkon, perfect schoon en netjes in de kamers en op het terrein. De kamer beschikt over een kluis, koffiezetapparaat, koelkast, föhn en oplaadstation. Het restaurant heeft heerlijk eten, maar het is prijzig. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt ligt op 20 minuten lopen en de zee is 15 minuten lopen. Ik was verrast door de parkeerkosten, zelfs voor gasten die in het hotel verbleven: $ 52 per nacht, terwijl er een openbare parkeerplaats in de buurt is voor $ 10 per dag. We vonden het nabijgelegen strand van Santa Monica beter, het is erg mooi en heeft een betere infrastructuur. Bij het inchecken werd een borg van $ 600 van mijn kaart afgeschreven. Ze zeiden dat ze deze binnen 5-7 dagen na het uitchecken zouden terugstorten. Vandaag is het al de 8e dag, maar de borg is nog steeds niet teruggestort. Het begint ongemakkelijk te worden.

Best hostel ever! It has many facilities, has friendly and social hosts and staff and great location. It also provides free simple breakfast (fruit, coffee, waffles) and you can rent surf material and bikes in there. Also great atmosphere all day long if you want to meet new people.

Clean and spacious king room with a balcony and a great view of the ocean. Very comfy beds and pillows, AC and TV was quick to work with. Walkable to the town, park and beach. Downside to this Best Western is the $10 parking a night and breakfast is not included unlike other BW. You'll have to purchase a breakfast voucher. But the Café is quite good.

Great location with mall right across the street! It would be even more convenient if covering breakfast and parking.
